Description: Sweet Pea is a quaint little restaurant located in Downtown Steamboat...
Sweet Pea is a quaint little restaurant located in Downtown Steamboat Springs on Yampa Street. We specialize in farm to table cuisine and support local farming efforts. Seasonally we host the most beautiful water side deck in all of Steamboat cozied up to the Yampa river with an ancient Gypsy Willow tree covering the deck. In the winter, we have inside seating and a cozy fire to keep you warm. Our menu speaks for itself but it is incredibly delicious and healthy. It is comprised of all home made dishes using ingredients from local and humane farms. We take reservations and are very family friendly. In the winter we serve dinner 7 days a week from 5-9pm. We also have brunch on Sundays from 10am-3pm. Happy hour is served every day in the bar from 5-6pm with $5 daily selected tapas, $6 specialty cocktails, $3 off wine, and $2 off beer. In the summer we serve both lunch and dinner and also have a happy hour from 3-6pm. $6 Cocktails, $3 off wine and $2 off beer.

Sit by the river for brunch

The food was great and sitting outside next to the river very relaxing. There was an extended wait to get our food, but the server was friendly; its not her fault the kitchen was slow, especially since they weren't that busy. The decor is very simple and quaint outside. Indoors looked a little snug.

Located in a converted old house, this eatery sports local foods and natural items. It was our first visit and we were not voracious so I had the bison burger and Anne had the regular burger. Both were cooked to order (medium) and large enough to take home a piece for lunch the next day. The fries that came with... More

Hi Sharon, Thank you for your review! I apologize for the wait on food; we strive to perfect guest satisfaction and it is disheartening to hear that your food took longer that it should have. I will discuss this issue with the kitchen and can assure you that on your next visit, this will not happen again. We have now... More

Delicious food, creatively prepared, healthy and very nice ambiance. Our kids loved everything they ate there. Service was excellent. It's in a cute little house. A little crowded in terms of tables close to other tables, but charming nonetheless.

This place was a sweet surprise. We looked for healthy eating in Steamboat and this place had what we wanted. Fresh, amazing and creative menu. Our group of 4 were all impressed. Quaint little house brings excellent atmosphere. I had a coffee rubbed, local rib eye that was super special. I had switched to a paleo diet and will only... More

If you are looking for an authentic home grown dinning experience try Sweet Pee. Charming setting in a old house on the Yampa river. The food is carefully crafted and original and tasty. The mixtures of flavors was incredible. Great service. You will not be disappointed.

When we arrived just needed a few items to get us through the week and found this smallish market. Got eggs bacon bread butter and coffee for breakfast and fresh soups to have for lunch in condo We were pleasantly surprised at the quality in the soups and would recommend going there for just quick items as it could be... Had the most enjoyable lunch with my family over 4th of July weekend. The kids enjoyed watching the folks float by on the river and the ski jumping on the mountain. The food was delicious and the Bloody Mary hit the spot. Delightful!

Stopped in late on Saturday with my daughter, enjoyed a fine meal at a pretty reasonable price. Lots of local favorites like bison, along with both comfort food and some elegant entries.
