Great evening out

We had a fun evening out at the Laundry. We enjoyed sharing the "small plates " ( they recommend ordering about two per person which is about right) . Our particular favourites were the Poke ( tuna and avocado ) and the pow pow shrimp ( which had a fiery kick ). The puddings were great too - we... read more

We have ate here on several occasions and have always enjoyed our experience. Food is great as is the service and atmosphere.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Laundry's interpretation of a classic chicken and dumplings featured, hands-down, the most flavorful, delectable chicken I've ever had. Moist, tender, tons of flavor. The rest of the dish was wonderful, too, but I was bowled over by the chicken. We also had the cauliflower au gratin and brussels sprouts hash and were in... More

It was quite pleasantly surprising to find a spot with a strong sense of style and personality in (healthily) un-hip Steamboat Springs. Superb friendly service, welcoming set up, uneven food ranging from great (the shrimp appetizer) to disappointing (the totally unremarkable steak, their most expensive dish).

This was one of the best meals I have enjoyed at a restaurant ever. Apart from the quiet ambiance and the efficient, professional staff, the food was exceptional both in presentation and flavor. each "small plate" is more than adequate for two diners. The beets with goat cheese was superb, as was the Brussels sprouts hash. My poke salmon melted... More

Food was good but not great for kids. Small plates, big bill! Service was good. Beef short ribs were delicious and the biscuit was amazing.

The food here was average to marginal at best. Most of the offerings were uninspired and some downright bland. The small plates concept is a good one but there was nothing here that really stood out.

Hadn't been there in a while but happy hour was totally worth going to. Tried a few cocktails I would never have tried were it not for the specials. Food also was a bit of experimenting and that makes for a great time. Nothing comparable in Steamboat, and even in the Denver area for that matter. Bartenders, Drew in particular,... More

Welcomed our party of 6 without a reservation. Ate in the bar area. Shared several plates & (2) desserts. Bartender very welcoming & friendly! Good selection of beer, wine & cocktails.

Dinner at the bar, amazing food, great hosting, good advice on what to choose. Humus, Cauliflower au gratin, Main dish: Short Ribs. Please don't leave without trying the Banana Pudding. To die for, literally!
