Great dinner after a great day of apres skiing!

After a long day of skiing, you are always hungry and this place did not disappoint. The wine was great and so was the short ribs.

The food was great. Our waiter was excellent. Nice decor. Very noisy inside. Not the place to go if you want to sit and talk.

We ate at the Truffle Pig while staying in Steamboat over Spring Break. The restaurant is located near the base of the mountain. Easily accessed thru public transportation from the condo areas surrounding the resort (where we were staying). The food was quite delicious. We started with almonds, olives and hummus. Such a welcome change from burgers and fries during... More

The Truffle Pig is one of our favorite places at the base of the mountain for apres ski and dinners. The service is great and they offer daily specials. At the end of the season all wines by the glass are 1/2 price and happy hour is all night!

A pleasant place with friendly staff that serves good food! The value was good - not too expensive for the quality, especially considering the location, which is very close to the Gondola. The cuisine is upscale american. I had the "drunken" pork chops - a generous cut of tender and properly cooked chops. My wife had the Sea Bass, which... More

This is a place to geta burger and some truffle fries, but don't expect miracles. My salad was fine, but the crispy calamari was actually soggy.

Truffle Pig is a MUST when you are in Steamboat Springs, plus the outside balcony looks right over all the ski schools so you can have a bite and a brew while watching the kids learn to ski. Their wagu burger with truffle fries is intense!! Add the sautéed mushrooms as an extra, its worth it!!

I really want to give it a 3 1/2 instead of 4, but since you can't... I err on the side of generosity. The food on the whole is a little above average. My husband had the Osso Bucco, which he said was good.. not fantastic but good. I had the flat iron steak, which was about the same. The... More
