Very comfortable dining

I really liked this place. It's located in Gondola Square right at the bottom of the mountain at the Steamboat Ski Resort, and right in the middle of a lot of competition, but it still manages to set itself apart. To be honest, if you all took the same amount of time and effort to give adequate (rather than superior) service that you gave to your voluminous, defensive and in accurate response to Rebecca D., there would not have been an issue. It is thoroughly disappointing to have experienced the horrible service you all provided then for you to add... More

We only enjoyed wine and dessert here outside by the cool fire pit but will definitely return for a dinner. beautiful bar and outside patio. Our grandchildren loved the hot, delicious cookies and hot chocolate by the fire pit. We loved the chocolate creme brûlée and the wine list is excellent. This will be our first stop when we return... I took 16 people for a business dinner on a Thursday night (reservations were made weeks prior based on their statements that they handled large groups all the time). We sat down at 7pm and they did not even take drink orders for 30 minutes. Appetizers took more than an hour after that to arrive and our dinner was not... More

Watched the World Cup during happy hour and enjoyed our drinks and burgers (a super deal with happy hour prices). Great quality; view right up the mountain. Busy - make a reservation.

On our recent 4th of July trip we loved this restaurant so much we ate here twice. My son begging to go back for the delicious Truffle Fries (half priced at Happy Hour along with Fat Tires for $2.50) & Kobe Truffle Burger! I indulged in the delicious Asian inspired Chilean Sea Bass. The kids menu is perfect & healthy... More

This is the first time I have had a bad experience here. We had a reservation. At 5:30 for a group of 10. Sat down without double and ordered our first drinks and apps. After that, it filled up and our waiter was nowhere be found. We watched as others were sat, ordered before us and we're served all before... More

During our annual trips to Steamboat, we always stay at the Ptarmigan Inn, which makes the walk to the Truffle Pig quick & easy. For our 1st dinner at the Pig, my DH enjoyed Mahi Mahi and I had a steak, on a second visit to the Pig, we both enjoyed Kobe beef burgers. Besides delicious food, the restaurant has... More

Hamburger good, bacon wrapped dates fun, irritating to have waiter constantly trying to get us to upgrade alcohol selection, food order. He over shared his life. Other waiters seemed fine, just the "unluck" of the draw for us. View absolutely fantastic.

After a long day of skiing, you are always hungry and this place did not disappoint. The wine was great and so was the short ribs.
