What a great place!

This place is complete with a great bookstore and a fabulous little restaurant. The pastries are just amazing. Definitely try out the cinnamon roll and a cupcake. Mmm! The staff is very nice and helpful.

wanting to take the grand-kids books i went here and found 2 delightful books for the kids. service was good and i noticed but didn't take advantage of a little cafe in there as well with coffees, teas and some treats for sale. there are some local trinkets for sale, mugs and cups and more.

This is a great little bookshop run by some lovely local Steamboat residents. A cafe is incorporated into the bookshop so you can immediately start to peruse your purchases over a coffee and cake.

I love to read & I love bookstores!! "Off The Besten Path" did not disappoint. Not only did it offer a variety of good reads, it also served up great coffee, pastries, wine & a cozy, comfy atmosphere in which to settle in & relax for a bit. On a cold, blustery day in January, " Off The Beaten Path"... More

I love to come here on a snowy day with my book, grab a coffee and head up to the loft area. It is always warm and cozy. The coffee is great and if you need anything along the lines of books or journals come here! They also have a great card selection of local artists photos and such. Great... More

This cute little store satisfied two of my weaknesses - books and coffee. The coffee was very good and they have a good selection, the treats were fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and efficient even when extremely busy. I love the eclectic collection of books to browse while waiting for order. Upstairs has lots more seating and is... More

What's not to like? Love this bookstore, love the staff recommendations, love the cafe, love the used books section (but wish it was bigger).

I love this bookstore! I am a sucker for independent bookstores, especially with a cute cafe attached. Great coffee, wonderful atmosphere and such friendly people. It's impossible to walk in and not feel welcome. There was a chipmunk that ran into the store in the day we were there, and the shop owners were trying so hard it safely herd... More

Good coffee, good danish and nice people. And an eclectic assortment of books to choose from. The upstairs reading area is a nice hideaway while sipping your coffee, very little foot traffic and free wifi.
