We had dinner here after a Strings concert. The meal was very good, and the fresh oysters were delicious. We recommend this as one of Steamboat's best restaurant in a delightful setting.

Atmosphere was nice. The 12 oz Delmonico steak I ordered was 1/4 inch thick and was served medium well (ordered medium rare). Not only was the steak average at best it did not come close to being worth the $37 I was charged for it. My son's potato wedges were rubbery and appeared to have been leftover frim the day... More

We are so sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. We do truly apologize. We are curious as to if you had informed your server about your steak being over-cooked? We always try to remedy a negative experience for our patrons immediately and we don't recall being alerted to this issue. In any event, we certainly feel awful when we... More

Four of us ate there after a long day on the road. My wife and I shared a Buffalo Oysters appetizer and the other couple shared King Crab Fritters. We all loved our appetizers. The oysters were fresh and cooked perfectly. We asked for the buffalo sauce and the blue cheese drizzle on the side. Neither of us are buffalo... More

We arrive at 7:00 PM and there were perhaps three other tables of diners. There was a pianist in the background background playing pleasant but innocuous music. We both ordered wedge salads. The presentation was unusual. No bacon crumbles (good), but sides of sliced carrots, diced onions and cherry tomato halves. Light blue cheese dressing. A "delicate" salad. I chose... More

We have been coming to Steamboat on and off for the past ten years and this is one of the few restaurants in Steamboat that we would consider suitable for fine dining or a special occasion. The ambiance is white linen table cloths, piano bar in background and no children. It is worth paying a little more for. (We miss... More

The menu changes several times a year, the food is reliably good and the service VERY attentive. Not cheap but it's worth it...

We loved this place. We went twice during our week long stay in Steamboat. We had a ringside seat at the Oyster Bar to watch the Chef and his team orchestrate their magic. There were three choices of Oysters, east coast, west coast and I think British Columbian. Chef prepared them in front of us and even chatted with us... More

Calamari is bathed in some type of buffalo wing sauce. Coconut shrimp served with a gherkin pickle tartar sauce- isn't coconut shrimp supposed to be served with something sweet? Mahi Mahi was over-cooked and dry. Beef Medallion was slathered with bbq-ish sauce. It was so overpriced for the quality. Definitely NOT fine dining.

Great steaks and seafood. The primer rib is my personal favorite. The ranchers' filet is one of the best cuts of beef I've had.
