Sure they do have deli sandwiches and possibly some other deli fare to go but I would call this a specialty meat/food store. We stopped in for some fresh Ruby Red Trout Fillets and thought they were reasonable at $14.99/lb. Transported them home to Albuquerque where we cannot get such.

If you like to cook on vacation like we do more than occasionally, then it's definitely worth the price. Most recently purchased and pan-fried some flown in Florida grouper ($27.99/lb), it was excellent. They also have a great selection of frozen raviolis and some other yummy preparations. Tried their bison jalapeño sausage...a total tasty show-stopper, great snack for the gondy... More

We stopped here to get steaks to grill for lunch. Steaks had great flavor. Worth the money. Large selection and you can pick which ones you want. Friendly staff.

We loved getting lobster and shrimp ravioli. They had a wonderful creamy tomato vodka sauce to put over it. It was like a gourmet dinner. We also got fresh fettuccine in three types to go with fresh white sauce. They have great fresh hand cut steak and seafood. It's a great little place to find special foods to make your... More

It's difficult to find a "real" butcher anymore, but here's the real deal. We purchased gorgeous, thick rib-eye steaks and Alaska King Crab pieces. Grilled, the steaks were mouth-wateringly perfect - wonderful flavor and cut like butter! Far better than the vast majority of restaurant steaks. And we've never had such sweet and tender crab. Worth every penny.

fresh pasta, fish, meats; great jerky, bacon, and cheeses; limited but useful selection of ethnic ingredients. The sandwiches are worth checking out, as are the freshly-made soups. Nice and hearty, and with a few tables looking across the Yampa toward the ski jumps...good on a sunny winter day or all summer. Just don't expect atmosphere.

We were in Steamboat Springs over the New Year's holiday and wanted to prepare a special dinner for our family. This place was recommended to us by a local for specialty foods to be cooked at home. Gourmet options were available and excellent fish and meat choices including some unusual ones for an east coaster: elk or bison meat!? They... More

Stopped by again this year for some buffalo jerky (my wife's favorite) and some teriyaki jerky (my favorite, and the kids' too). We found this spot last year, and I liked the jerky so much that we had some shipped to us a couple of times in early 2012.
