We've been going to Steamboat Springs for years and eating at this fun restaurant has been a tradition. When our kids were young they really loved grilling their own steaks at the large communal grill. That hasn't changed even as they've grown into adults. The cuts of meat are always excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and service is... More

We loved this place. We knew a month before our Steamboat vacation that we wanted.to eat here one of the evenings. My husband especially, and also my oldest son thought it was awesome to pick out their steak and cook it themselves. We will definitely make this steakhouse a tradition to eat at when we take our yearly Steamboat Springs... More

Great food, great meat at a reasonable price. Compared to the rest of Steamboat. Service was courteous and timely. Good wine list as well. Too bad they dont have a terrace, we were there on a nice warm August evening.

Our party of 4 was a bit surprised to find out that we would be grilling our own steaks when we arrived for our reservation. We started out with drinks and salad at the salad bar. Next you go to the meat counter, much like a butcher shop to pick out your cut of steak, chicken or seafood. The man... More

Our party of 4 was looking for a nice dinner and steak was on our minds! The big thing about this place is that nowhere in all their ads etc do they tell you that you have to COOK YOUR OWN STEAK! It probably would have been OK but our waiter misdirected us to the point where he was just... More

Here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Western atmosphere fits Steamboast. Service was excellent - hustled, very accommodating. Large salad bar with typical add-ons. There were several loaves of Texas Toast in the bag at the salad bar to go on the grill. Diners can cook their own entrees or the staff will do it for you. Crocks of marinade and... More

Good clean restaurant. Surprised to cook my own food on vacation, yet it was really good beef. Family had bison; loved it. Salad bar was fresh and had a good family environment.

A nice old saloon style restaurant in the heart of Steamboat Springs. A full butcher's case of meat selections, and even variations in sizes (8 oz strip, 12 oz strip, etc). You can grill your own on the communal grill, or like us, as the staff to cook it for you. We trust their skills over our own and it... More

You can order off a menu for limited selections or grill your own on large common grill. If you grill, you have a lot of options from pre-seasoned bacon wrapped Filet's, NY Strips, chicken, fish, shrimp skewers, Kabob's, etc. just pick out your cut and head over to the large grill preheated to 550 degrees. There are some grilling tips... More
