This place has a very cozy feeling and has several dining rooms. The four of us arrived at around 7:30 pm on a Saturday night and it was very crowded. We had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated in the very nice waiting area. When seated, I ordered the big salad with salmon. The salmon was probably... More

My husband and I both ordered the 18-20oz ribeye. His was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had asked if they could do a smaller ribeye and was told no. So I was rather surprised that mine was much smaller than his, maybe 12 oz. It was cooked as I had asked, good flavor, but a little tough. The... More

We both really enjoyed our meals here. I would rate the food excellent! The owners were very friendly people wanting to be sure we enjoyed everything about our time there.

Excellent place to enjoy an outstanding meal. Been in South Fork for many years. Steaks are excellent. One of my favorite places to eat in South Fork.

This place has been around for many years. The first time I tried it was in 2000 and found it to be expensive and I couldn't eat the food. The last time I tried it was August 2013. The burger was pretty good, but I felt their food was still very expensive for what you get.

Feels like you're in an episode of Northern Exposure -- darling little rock & log building. Go for the prime rib on the weekends!

Picture a tiny town at the juncture of two canyons, and 8000 feet up in the Rocky Mountains of remote southern Colorado. Now ask yourself, "Am I going to find a worthwhile steak house here, when even the nearest golden arches are nearly 50 miles away?" You betcha'! The Rockaway is remarkable for even existing here in the tiny hamlet... More
