Good milkshakes

We enjoyed walking to the malt shop during our stay in South Fork. It was a great milkshake - but $4 seems kinda steep. Especially when you sit outside and swat mosquitos. But we'd go again. Kids had fun.

We arrived here in the middle of a gully washer and appreciated the canopy over some of the picnic tables. The burgers were o.k., the pastrami was too salty for our taste, but the chili on the chili dogs was very good and the pulled pork sandwiches was also tasty. The price for the shakes seemed high but were comparable... More

Yeah, I know that's a cheesy review title, but the malt shop is so good! It features a typical burgers-and-fries type menu, but with the added bonus of my personal favorite, elk and bison burgers, which are more lean (leaner?) than beef. It was really busy but we still got our food in about 10 minutes or so. I was... More

Only took about 10 minutes for our burger, fries and onion straws to be ready, the shake was ready quick. All around deliciousness! Will stop again the next time we come through, yummmmm!

We have been coming to this establishment for the last 4 years on our visit to South Fork. Great Malt Shakes & Huge Variety. The lines look long, but worth the wait!

If you like paying $4.00 for a 16 ounce milkshake and waiting 30 minutes for one shake, go for it. Its amazing the prices charged at this establishment. Understand that small seasonal businesses need to make $$, but the prices here were laughable and ice cream is nothing special

Very good burger. So many fries we could have split and order. Quite tasty and seasoning on fries. Did not try the malts. Outdoor eating only.

Always have excellent service here and the seasoned fries are great. We have had Cheeseburger Baskets and Chicken Strip baskets and the food is always very good. Top it off with a malt or soft serve ice cream "twist" with chocolate and vanilla. a little pricey for ice cream cone (3.00 small/3.50 for large) but well worth it.

We always stop there. Sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fries, sweet potato fries, and more, but the best are the shakes and malts---they alone are worth a stop at this little roadside stand.

Burgers average but think could improve on meat quality. They were out of onion rings. Seating outside only and we were attacked by mosquitos and had to leave. Kids enjoyed their food and went back for more malts!
