After a long day skiing in freezing temperatures, any hot drink in little refuge should be enough of a respite. But Gywn's is waaaay beyond that, and so is the recovery experience in there. Food is wonderful. I always appreciate it when a place churning out hundreds of hot meals a day still go through the effort of providing gluten-free... More

First impression of the building was it was cute, but definitely dated. Having eaten at some of the nice on Mountain lunch places at Deer Valley and Vail's 10 this restaurant just seemed a little tired. However, the service was excellent. We had nine of us so pretty much every breakfast item was ordered. No complaints by anyone. My eggs... More

The lunch was very nice but we had to to wait for almost 30 mins for the table to be cleared. The food was very good but don't count on skiing in the afternoon.

Great mid-Snowmass mountain lunch. Log cabin feel, tasty food. Rice bowls and salads are delicious. My third time here and this time I met Gwyn! How charming that she is circulating through the restaurant during lunch... talking to customers, busing tables. Gwyns is one of the few privately owned snowmass mtn restaurants. Two years ago I had the Kale salad,... More

If you are after over priced, low quality food served on a plastic plate this is the place for you. We went there as a family towards the end of lunchtime and were shock by the lack of choice left. By the time we got there it was to late to find another restaurant. I was charged $22 for a... More

This is a good fueling stop while skiing. Convenient location and large number of tables. However, the choices are similar to other on-mountain places, so don't expect anything very creative. Upscale institutional food.

Our family loves the Fancy Room at Gwyn's. They go out of their way for us every year. The menu has great variety, and we have had some special meals there for family occasions. The view is great, service impeccable, and it's a joy to take off the ski boots and use the crocs! It's always hard to go past... More

Snowmass is a world class mountain to ski at.. I am perplexed why this restaurant /lodge is still in existence at the mountain..? Management/Owners are a bunch of rude people. During a non peak skiing day, sitting by myself quietly in the half empty place, I was warned by the owner/manager that I would not be allowed to leave my... More

We love Gwyn's at the top of Alpine Springs lift at the wonderful Snowmass Ski area. Their Brunswick chicken stew is amazing ...filled with large chunks of vegetables and chicken...it is delicious! The perfect lunch to energize for more skiing. Gwyn's also has a sit down gourmet restaurant for those special occasions when you want to indulge in an amazing... More

I ate here with my 14 year old son in December 2014. The restaurant is located at the top of the Alpine Springs lift, in part of the regular Alpine Springs cafeteria, but it is worlds away. The table we had looked out on the slopes and the ambience was quiet and warm. The restaurant also provides slippers so you... More
