We went for dessert but the food smelled really good. We got a deep fried twinky and peach cobbler. Hit the spot.

On a recent fall trip to the Durango area, drove to Silverton for the day to see the sights and watch the Durango Silverton train roll in. At high noon, we all decided we were hungry and followed the smoky scents to Thee Pitts BBQ. Guy Fiori rated one of their restaurants some time ago (they have one in Glendale,... More

Ate lunch here during our train ride. Excellent brisket sandwich and onion rings. Reasonably priced. Fun atmosphere.

As we entered the restaurant we did not expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. We shared a pulled pork plate with french fries and salad. We loved it!!! The taste of the home-smoked pulled pork was just amazing and the fries were exceptionally well seasoned (a rare thing in the states). Stop in Silverton just for this food, it's... More

We drive through Silverton on a regular basis on our way to various jeeping adventures. Until this past weekend we had never stopped at Three Pitts Again, our mistake. The BBQ was up with the best we have ever had. The pulled pork or the chicken are excellent. Great food and nice people behind the counter. It's on our auto... More

We've eaten here 3 times in the last year and love it! This last time I got the pork sandwich while my husband and son got the beef brisket. After tasting each other's, we decided it was all good but the pork outshines the rest. My other son who's not a BBQ fan, says the Mac and cheese is the... More

While staying in Durango, we took the senic drive to Silverton. What a pleasant little town with many curio shops and diverse restuarants to choose from. Thee Pitts Again was featured on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives. I must say it was worth the drive and the ribs fall off the bone tender. It is family owned and run. You... More

Bottomline: Get the pork! We ate here two nights in a row. The cashier delivered our food trays to us on both occasions. On Saturday, we shared onion rings and each got a Light Eaters dinner meal (meat, 1 side, and cornbread). The onion rings were served hot and freshly fried in a housemade batter. My brisket was tasty enough,... More

We recently visited Silverton with our family of 11, and several of us had an opportunity to eat lunch at Thee Pitts Again. You certainly can't miss this restaurant because it is the only bright pink building on the main street, and there is a pink antique car in front of it. It was busy, but we patiently waited because... More
