Stopped here by chance and it was really good. Friendly waitress and good food. I had the Ruben sandwich wife had the taco salad. We were both pleased.

It was my family's first trip to Silverton and Handlebars was highly recommended. It didn't dissappoint. First we got onion rings for an appetizer and they were unbelievable. My son had the chicken pot pie and it was so delushious and creamy. I had the green chilli burger and it was also filling and spicy. My only complaint is it... More

Food was fast and great tasting. Our server was a professional- he didnt miss a single step of service and was turning and burning that place. Atmosphere was great and we would recommend.

We ate lunch here while waiting to take the train back to Durango. There is so much to see, stuffed animals (full size), animal heads, etc. The service is great, very efficient. If you want to eat here, you had better get off the train and literally "run" so you can beat the train crowd to the restaurant. Prices are... More

I have been coming to Silverton for 40 years and watched places come and go. A local fireman told me about Handlebars so I decided to try it. The food was good as was the service. I did not enjoy the chilie on my burger. Though my meal was not the best, I was impressed with the orders of the... More

We find ourselves gravitating back again and again to Handlebars on each of our frequent trips to Silverton. The good food, ambiance, excellent servers and convenience just keeps us captivated. I am one of those travelers that, when I find a good place, I don't mind sticking with a good thing. Just ask my wife of 43 years and counting!... More

What terrific food and vibes this place has! It is located right on the main street of historic Silverton, Co. My husband had the elk burger and said it was terrific! (It wasn't ground, it was like an elk steak!) I myself ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and gravy which was also terrific! The ambiance is outstanding with... More

We rushed in to Handlebars to escape the cold and rain after a cool train ride. The staff was friendly and the place was crowded. I was a little disappointed in the buffalo burger, I knew it would be lean, but it was almost too lean. My wife's chicken fried chicken was yummy. We'd eat lunch here again on a... More

We drove up to Silverton for the day from Durango. We had driven to Animas Forks and needed a late lunch/early dinner. The train was just about to leave. So, the restaurant had cleared out. There were only about two other tables plus some people at the bar the entire time we were there. I had stopped here because of... More

We came in here after a freezing cold jeep tour of Stony Pass and were very happy with everything. I will be returning when I can.
