We stayed in the Bordello room. Which has a balcony off the room. The down side is you share the space with the room next door. The decor is period. One down side is they have a "closet" but no hangers. The other thing is the floor squeaks when you or the room next door walk across the floor. Two... More

We were recommended to have our lunch here. Due to time constraints we did but I wish we had not. Very busy, which I think overwhelmed the service and the kitchen. Food quality was just about okay. Perhaps it was just a bad day or timing but I think there are better places in Silverton to eat

Stopped there twice, once on the way to Durango, and once on the Narrow Gauge railroad stop over. The food is very hometown good cooking, with friendly and engaging service. The atmosphere is very orginal to it's old west roots. Highly recommend anytime in Silverton Co. Had the Shepard's Pie, it was hot and quick.

Good food and quick service. Old time atmosphere with tin plaster. We tried the local beer and found a new favorite. Good stop before some shopping.

We were dropped by a tour with an hour to eat in Silverton. This place came recommended by our tour guide. I did notice him eating there as well. Menu was varied - 3 out of 5 of us had ELK BURGERS. Fun adventure. The waitresses in this place really move as it was obvious the crowd varies due to... More

Stopped in here for a quick bite. Sat by the wood stove which was lovely as it was a little cool outside. The elk burger was great - definitely different from beef. The waitress suggested Swiss cheese on it and she was so right. Service was friendly. Prices were reasonable. Glad I stopped here.

We road the scenic railroad to Silverton and had lunch at Bent Elbow, admittedly, because we liked the name. Only one waitress was on duty (during the lunch stop for a packed train -- poor planning) and she had all she could handle with three tables. Toward the end of our meal, a table of 12 came in, and she... More

This restaurant is just as you coming into town. They have daily specials that are made from scratch and a wide variety of soups, sandwiches and salads. The staff was particularly friendly and attentive. The desert of home made bread pudding with whiskey sauce is not to be missed. It was some of the best I have ever had. The... More

Following a jeep tour, our guide recommended the Bent Elbow for lunch. He was so right (and I saw him eating lunch there also). We had a great lunch. The setting was great (an old west saloon) and the food was really good (my hamburger was one of the best I've had). I highly recommend the Bent Elbow for lunch.

May have just been the day we were there, but it was pretty quiet. The salad bar is nice. We ordered a trio of prime ribs that were prepared very well, but needed a lot of seasoning.
