We have been to Silverton many times and always eat at the Bent Elbow. The historical pictures and atmosphere are always fun and the food and staff make it a great time. Actually the menu offers some amazing cuisine..... Recently had the mahi-mahi--- it was super!! We've always wanted to stay at the hotel and finally were able to do... More

Let's take it back to vacation 1974. We were on a very tight budget. We had arrived in Silverton in our 1955 Chevy pickup with a 15' camp trailer in tow. We'd been out for a week and were trying to conserve our money. We parked on a side street and walked to Blair street where the train had just... More

I had prime rib for dinner and it was great. Ordered med/rare and it was perfectly done and was tender almost like butter. Salad bar had a good selection and very fresh. Waitress was very friendly with good speed of service.

Bad food and worse service. Over charged and treated rudely ! Two merchants in town said they have a very rude staff and they don't recommend them to anyone.

It was a rainy evening. It was a group of 12. Waitress was not very nice. Food was nothing spectacular for the prices paid. $9 for a kids meal of a hot dog. Charged for drinks that should've been included in the kids meal. Won't go back.

We stayed in the Bordello room. Which has a balcony off the room. The down side is you share the space with the room next door. The decor is period. One down side is they have a "closet" but no hangers. The other thing is the floor squeaks when you or the room next door walk across the floor. Two... More

We were recommended to have our lunch here. Due to time constraints we did but I wish we had not. Very busy, which I think overwhelmed the service and the kitchen. Food quality was just about okay. Perhaps it was just a bad day or timing but I think there are better places in Silverton to eat

Stopped there twice, once on the way to Durango, and once on the Narrow Gauge railroad stop over. The food is very hometown good cooking, with friendly and engaging service. The atmosphere is very orginal to it's old west roots. Highly recommend anytime in Silverton Co. Had the Shepard's Pie, it was hot and quick.

Good food and quick service. Old time atmosphere with tin plaster. We tried the local beer and found a new favorite. Good stop before some shopping.

We were dropped by a tour with an hour to eat in Silverton. This place came recommended by our tour guide. I did notice him eating there as well. Menu was varied - 3 out of 5 of us had ELK BURGERS. Fun adventure. The waitresses in this place really move as it was obvious the crowd varies due to... More
