Our first lunch ever in a former brothel!

Silverton is a real bit of the old Wild West, and the Bent Elbow still has that feel about it. The building been well preserved, but now offers a large comfortable dining area, with a wide range of fairly basic dishes well cooked and presented. Helpings are large. Service is efficient and friendly... read more

OK Bonnie is the chef. A family favorite for us. We have been coming here since 71. Bonnie has not disappointed. Great lunches and a fine dining dinner menu. The building is as rustic as can be. It's was filmed in many 1950's technicolor westerns. When you exit the train go to the corner and turn left. It's at the... More

We went there for lunch after getting off the train. Food was okay, nothing special and did come out of the kitchen in a timely manner. However the service was horrible. I had to go find the silverware and napkins myself. After she passed up our table many times I know she saw our empty glasses but she never refilled.... More

Food was excellent, service good. Sadly, we were the only diners there, how could so many people be missing this gem?

Good and comfortable. Food decent, but not great. Gets crowded when the train come in, so time your visit. If you're in a good mood and love the Silverton experience, you'll love it!

We had lunch at The Bent Elbow on June 1,2015. It was a late lunch and we were the only customers. Even so, the food was fresh and delicious! The service was very good. We enjoyed visiting with our server. We will definitely return if we visit Silverton in the future!

Read the reviews and it matched them. The lunch was good for the location. Although the corn biscuit tasted like a frozen muffin. Enjoyed the warm chili, grilled cheese (both GF &!regular) and great hot coco. The icing on the cake was dessert. Grandma's recipe of bread pudding. Nothing I could finish but perfect for a cold rainy day.

The owners greeted us warmly and was very personable. The food was great, all homemade. There was a wood burning stove that helped warm us from the train ride.
