This is a cute little restaurant/saloon that definitely takes you back in time! The food was good, but the entertainment was even better. Lacey played the old piano and it truly takes you back to the days of the Wild, Wild West!

We were doing the narrow gauge railroad round trip so had limited time in Silverton. A couple of the other restaurants we had tried first had long wait times so read the menu outside and heard wonderful piano playing coming from the open doorway and decided to give it a try. We made a great choice! Lovely young lady playing... More

Came for lunch on a busy August day. The old fashioned saloon decor is great, especially the wonderfully recreated wooden bar. The girl pianist was also very good. The food (a turkey club & a cheeseburger) was a bit average. But it's a tourist town and I've had a lot worse. Nice place, worth a visit.

Got to listen to old time piano music while eating a fabulous bacon cheeseburger. Staff were quick on the trigger and got me my food super fast. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices

We ate dinner here prior to checking into the Grand Imperial Hotel next door. It was a busy night but our service was great. The prices were good and they had a good selection of sandwiches and burgers. In particular, the club sandwich and French onion soup were excellent!

We had lunch at Grumpys and would highly recommend it. The old saloon decor was great and was highlighted by Lacey playing non-stop wonderful tunes on the piano. The service was first rate and fast and the food was excellent. We could not have enjoyed the meal and experience any more.

Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our stop here for Sunday lunch. His Rueben sandwich was absolutely top-notch and my Chicken Taco Salad was very tasty as well. Even better was the piano player! Sheer delight with his non-stop ragtime and old standards. We left even happier than when we arrived!

We ate at Grumpy's Saloon and Restaurant while in Silvertin, CO. It was adorable and the food was very good. We met the owner that just took over the restaurant a few months ago. Nice guy and he was working hard that day. They have a person plating the piano so the atmosphere of the place is delightful.

Grumpy's is in the Grand Imperial Hotel and one of our favorite places to eat. Not open for dinner except certain nights so ask if you stay in Silverton. The Grand Imperial and Grumpy's have new owners (April 2015) and the Silverton Railroad is part owner (see our review of the Hotel). They have a great piano player each day... More
