Good food in a tiny little place. It is incredibly popular and if you aren't there first in the in morning for breakfast...be prepared for a long wait. The portions are good sized and the food is very good. The price is comparable to Cracker Barrel. I went there last year and when I came back with my family this... More

Coming back from Steamboat, my family and I stopped at the Mountain Lyon for breakfast. It seemed to be a local spot, and the help and food were great. The pancakes were good, the breakfast potatoes were excellent according to my wife. If you want to have a good breakfast, and not spend a ton of cash, I recommend that... More

If I had all our sons and family with me and we were going to have a big day in the mountains, this is where I would take them for breakfast. Incredible proportions...just like on the farm!

We had breakfast here and it was fantastic! Everything on the menu is reasonably priced. Everything we had was fresh and quality. We had to wait a bit for a table, which shows how popular the place is. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in for a late breakfast and the place was pretty packed. Nevertheless, we were seated pretty fast. The food is very good and plentiful, especially the breakfasts. Seems to be a locals choice. Nice little place.

Seems to be LOCAL FAVORITE, and usually quite busy, but even so our wait wasn't long and definitely worth it. Portions are large, service was great. We've been skiing in Summit County for 12 years and there are few restaurants that stand out. This is one of them.

Stopped here for breakfast, portions were huge and the service was super quick. Not much to look at but the food was served hot and very tasty.

I ordered a Cobb salad that came with fried eggs on top! Not sure if the menu mentioned that, but how strange would that be anyway. I also had the business end of a carrot in my salad and some sort of burned mystery meat. The server never checked back with us after she delivered the food (I didn't notice... More

Looked for a place to eat and found the parking lot full at Mountain Lyon Cafe. Decided to give it a try. The parking lot needs to be resurfed and the steps (only two) to the door did not have a railing. The furnishings were tacky. The staff were attentive. Our meals were good. We had plenty to eat and... More

We have eaten at this local cafe several times and thoroughly enjoyed our food. On this return, I had eggs benedict and I am sure that the Hollandaise came out of a package. The home fries were fresh and good but the eggs were not. My husband had fried eggs, hashbrowns (which are frozen) and pancakes. He even found the... More
