Decent Mexican Fare

Jalisco is a decent traditional Mexican place, but is definitely priced for Summit County. Not easy on the wallet! Food is good, but on the pricey side

18 % Mandatory gratuity! I was told. Gratuity: Voluntary additional payment made for services rendered Food was disappointed. The service " not good " in my opinion.

Tastes like you could buy a frozen mexican dinner at City Market across the street and do as well. Very plain sauces, and pasty beans, bland rice, and not that cheap. "Authentic" ?

Although it's not the best Mexican food it is always good I have never encountered a crowd there and the service is fast and food authentic.

Had a chicken burrito smothered. Loaded with tender white meat, beans and rice on the side, plus chips and salsa. Very tasty, but would have liked more green chili on top of the smothered burrito. Good value, friendly service.

The ambience when entering is very nice and the staff is very friendly. The prices were a bit high, but expected for this area. I had the combination plate with an enchilada and a chile relleno. The server asked what I wanted in my enchilada and I said beef. He repeated "beef" so I know he understood. What I got... More

Always a good meal after hiking. Fast , friendly service. As usual my wife and I each ordered a different marg. Both were good. The salsa was tasty with just the right amount of heat. The chips were fresh and not greasy. I ordered the pork carnitas and my wife ordered the carne assada. Plenty to eat. The leftovers were... More

Fiesta Jalisco has all the look and feel of a Mexican Restaurant owned and run by a local family. I'd give it a five but a save this rating for the truly exceptional restaurants. The service was fast, the food had authentic Mexican taste, and the prices were reasonable. The night we visited they had specials on both margaritas and... More
