A hometown favorite

Gotta love Bud's! This place is a Colorado icon. One not to be missed. The local atmosphere and good burgers-who can ask for more besides fries LOL!

After hearing about this place as being unique, we decided to try it. It really is primarily a bar that happens to serve hamburgers and cheeseburgers, which come with a bag of chips and a bowl of dill pickles and sliced onions. Catsup and mustard are on the table. The burger was tasty, but the soft white bun was wet... More

I have been going there for years. Not fancy just plain good. Limited menu hamburger, double hamburger, cheese burger, double cheese burger. You can have grilled onions, or jalapeños. I comes with pickles and sweet onions sliced on the side. For a good laugh ask for lettuce and tomatoes! They steam their high quality meat so it is healthier and... More

Post hike must. Burgers chips and beer do you really need anything else? Single double triple, with or without cheese, please don't ask for fries.

Bud's Bar is like going back in time to the old time beer joints. The menu consists of a hamburger or cheeseburger, double or single and "no French fries, dammit". That's their slogan! The burgers are served hot, steamy, gooey and are to die for. You savor every bite of a Bud's burger. And if you wait long enough, you... More

What a yummy indulgence...The burgers are slightly greasy with gooey American cheese and take you back to your childhood. The menu consists of Burgers and Cheeseburgers-no fries. They come with a bag of chips and sodas are not refillable, but priced accordingly. It is primarily a bar, so beer abounds. I have to get my "Bud's Fix" at least twice... More

Very limited choices. No fries. Only chips. A very minimalist experience I suppose. Burgers were okay, but I've definitely had way better. My friends and I all agree: we can't figure out what all the "Best Burger" hype is about. Bud's might be the best in Sedalia, but there're much better places in nearby Castle Rock. Even Smashburger all around... More

Managed by women and serving the best burgers in the area. It's a beer joint and the service and burgers are very good and inexpensive. Burgers are all that's served here. No french fries. You get chips onions and pickles on the side. You'll find Mercedes, Lincolns along side pick 'em up trucks outside as people from all walks of... More

I've been going to Bud's since the early 70's and never fail to get a cheese burger and chips along with a cold 1 or 2 or ? Only thing that's changed are the prices. Whatever happened to $.50 buds? This place is a classic, and a great stop on a Sunday motorcycle run. You won't be disappointed.
