This place is fun because it isn't your typical chain restaurant. Service is always attentive and friendly. The food is on the poor side of average. Hash browns are dry and flavorless. Over-easy eggs had broken yolks. One piece of toast was the end piece. Corn beef hash just wasn't for me.

I have passed by this Café for many years. Last week, O'Brien's Café was the meeting place for an early morning Fly Fishing Trip. As I parked my car I noticed the "Trip Advisor" sign in the window and knew I was in for a treat. Best Breakfast I have had in a very long time and that includes breakfasts... More

If you like country breakfast this is your place! Homemade biscuits, corned beef hash, and grits keep me coming back time and time again! Great friendly staff keeps your coffee full and its always fun to watch the Bored of Directors at the Liars Club table.

Great breakfast foods, fantastic staff, and a fun place to sit and eat. Have not had a bad breakfast yet and I have tried about half the menu. Portions are big and the prices are right. From the"Bored of Directors Table" to the funny plaques on the wall, this mismatch of decor is fun to look at. They have also... More

If you are into skillet fancy breakfasts or Quiche, move on, this is not your place. If you are into old fashion diner breakfasts, quaint, filled with local folks and charming waitresses, come on in. My favorite breakfast to go sit down read my paper and enjoy the morning. Endless coffee....... I am an eggs, hash browns and bacon guy,... More

I am a local and love O'Brien's for lunch and especially for their wonderful homemade desserts! They make their desserts daily and if I don't feel like baking I pick up one of their pies or cakes. They are now open for dinner.

Love to stop here for lunch and dessert. They make desserts everyday right at the restaurant. You can even buy a whole cake or pie and impress your friends when they come to dinner! Now open for dinner!

I live in California and come up 3 times a year to our place in upper Sedalia. One of the first things we like to do is go to O'Brian's Cafe. The staff is awesome and food is great! Hubby LOVES the chicken fried steak breakfast and I like everything I have ever ordered there. Homemade bread and pie too.... More
