Interesting Delicious Assortment of Choices

Passing through Salida, stumbled upon this gem. Ate their delicious Portabello Mushroom sandwich complimented by the pesto sauce and goat cheese. SO GOOD! The tomato bisque was quite mediocre but it was worth the visit for the Portabello Sandwich and my husband's bang bang shrimp pasta.

Dinner was a disaster!! ordered a steak medium rare with a baked potato...got a overly rare steak that I couldnt eat with fries...had to send it back to reheat and watched the cook put it under a heat lamp..never put it on the grill..couldnt eat it..and never got the baked potato..total waste of 25$!!!

Great little restaurant with an interesting menu and fair price for the quality and amount of food. The Bang Bang dish was yummy, but if you like it spicy, you will need to ask for more sauce as there wasn't enough to provide the warm-up kick I was looking for when I saw the spicy icon on the menu next... My wife and stopped here for lunch. The food was fresh and excellent. We sat outside by the river. Very relaxing with beautiful ambiance. The service was top notch. We had a pizza and a pita sandwich. Both were great. This is on our list to visit again when we are in the area.

We heard about this restaurant from a gentleman at the Mountain Spirit Winery. They are both owned by the same people. We went for Happy Hour which meant 2 for 1 beers and great food - pot stickers, bacon wrapped tots, tower of sweet potato fries. The patio was very nice and there was a rushing stream out back. Definitely... More

This is a heart breaking place to dine because they have a beautiful restaurant and a remarkable terrace with a path to a small stream but unfortunately the food is lacking. It's not canned and the food is okay but it should be so much better. This place needs a quality trained chef!

We have eaten at the Twisted Cork twice on two different trips. The first time we ate there, we could find no other conveniently located restaurant to our route. We were pleasantly surprised at the great menu. The staff is always nice and the service good. It's not a quick trip and it's not fast food, but it is an... More

This restaurant was very close to our motel and had an eclectic menu. Very easy to find something to order and enjoy. We recommend sitting outside in the back. Very relaxing and shady.

Every time I go down to Salida I make it appoint to eat here. The location is outside of Salida on the main route into town. Outside is nice with landscaping up to the enterance. Within the building is a gift shop with local wines and gifts. Restaurant offers indoor and a really nice outdoor patio near a creek...recommend sitting... More

What a lovely restaurant nice atmosphere inside and great views from the patio! The food was delicious and with lots of variety suitable for a family. We had fish tacos, ahi tuna salad, bang bang noodles, pad Thai and the smokehouse pizza- all we would order again. The Mountain Zin wine from Mountain Spirit Winery was a huge hit. The... More
