I had a steak here and had plenty of leftovers for another night. The cobbler was different. They had great service. I didn't go through the gift shop. There was lots of seniors there who seemed to be locals

Rhubarb crisp and dutch apple pie was delicious!

My salad was not fresh and the service was slow. It was not busy at the time, so I'm not sure what the problem was. My friends had similar experiences with their food, although the soup seemed to be tasty.

Have been patronizing this restaurant for years because of great home cooked meals, good prices, wonderful gift shop, etc. The new owners need to follow the footsteps of the old ones. When something has worked for years with people waiting outside to get a table, why change it? This was our 3rd and last try. Our server was great, but menu was... More

We like to hit this restaurant on occasion as its options are usually good. Stopped by last weekend and spent $50 on a salad, chicken sandwich, kids grilled cheese and a bowl of good ol' Kraft mac & cheese. Seems a bit steep for what we ordered. A lot of the great things that used to be on the menu... More

Went there for lunch on a Monday afternoon. They were not very busy, maybe 3 tables. Got seated right away. Waitress came and took or drink order and then asked if we were ready to order, we had just sat own, had not had a chance to look at menu, so we said we needed a minute. Well she didn't... More

The portions were generous (we took half our lunch home), the food fresh, the waitress helpful--and they have awesome pecan pie!! It's a popular spot so we had a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it.

Very enjoyable time and interesting selections. Our server was terrific. One Buffalo Burger and Meatloaf with Elk, Buffalo, Sausage and Beef. A delicious Chicken dish with Feta and Spinach. Our meals were flavorful and super filling. The Lemon Pie looked delicious, but no room for that. Another time for that,

We have eaten at the county bounty for over 25 years. It must have sold to people that don't care. Had a steak there 2 years ago that was one of the best I ever had, Valentin's dinner was very disappointing, steak and meal were of very poor quality. We will not be back.
