Went here after playing Rocky Mountain Mini Golf so it was about 7:30 pm. Did not stay to eat because they were out of the menu items I was looking forward to ordering. There were still other items I could have ordered but none appealed to me.

It's been been quite a while since I enjoyed a $12 meal. This evening ( Sept.17) at the Country Bounty I had one of their "signature" dishes. Tomatoes stuffed with steak and gorgonzola cheese served with polenta cakes on a bed of spinach, topped with a black bean salsa that I can't even describe. Every bite was delicious. Entrees are... The food was good and the staff was great. Usually don't spend a lot of time in a gift shop but this one had such neat stuff and a great book selection and friendly, helpful staff.

Maybe Sunday afternoon at 3 is not the time to come?! All 4 of us wanted prime rib - it seemed the most reasonable priced thing on the menu (a burger costs $11!). They only had two servings left. Then ordered the soup of the day as it said on the board on the way in the door - they... More

We ate lunch here and it was delicious! Service was perfect! Large portions, fair prices. They have a cute gift shop attached that carries products that were made in Colorado, i.e. lotions, honey, nice jewelry. We had yummy sandwiches which came with fries which were the best!

We just ate at the Bounty about an hour ago, and I have to tell you, we found the food to be delicious. This is an old-fashioned family restaurant, excellent wait staff, friendly, and we loved the food! I ate at this restaurant several years ago and remember it being quite good. For two, including the brownie ice cream sundae,... More

It has been a year since I last visited the Bounty. This time my son and I were returning from a camping trip and couldn't resist stopping by. We had a late lunch ... but as usual the restaurant was a-bustle. It has seen some refurbishment since our last visit, much to its benefit. The menu is replete with comfort... More

We were looking for a place to eat and tried the Bounty. The first night we had prime rib. It tasted great and was reasonably priced. The next night we had the elk burgers and they were amazing! We dined out in the garden area and enjoyed live music both nights. It took a while for our food but well... More

Ladies and gentlemen: If you get close to Salida for any reason, and you have the opportunity to stop in here for a bite of dessert, please try their fresh fruit cobblers. The strawberry-rhubarb is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
