The food here was incredible. I live in Austin and have access to some pretty amazing restaurants but this might have been the best meal I've ever had. The chili stuffed with grits was hearty, gooey, tasty, with a nice kick. The goat cheese salad had a refreshing lemony dressing and great texture with the nuts and roasted red peppers.... More

Top quality seafood, steaks, lamb, chicken. All items are prepared to perfection. Seasonal local produce is treated with respect and love. We have been dining at LL for 10 years. The best restaurant in Salida & you won't find much argument about that--even other restaurant owners agree with LL's status.

Delightful! Divine! Scrumptious! Fun! What a creative, well thought out menu! Who would expect such perfection in a small Colorado town? We were fortunate to sit on the patio with a beautiful fire pit. Our server, Jen, was truly the BEST server I have ever encountered! She was welcoming and attentive. Not only did she answer any questions we had... More

This restaurant is in an historic Victorian setting downtown. The ceiling is very old tin and pretty Victorian lamps hang from it. The couple that owns it went to culinary school together and worked in well-known reputable restaurants in Napa before opening their own in this small Colorado town. Though not in-expensive, the menu is varied and creative. I had... More

We went there for lunch and they had only two waitresses and no bartender. People began to pour in and they kept seating them. Service slowed to a crawl. At some point, staff has to exercise some self-discipline and make people wait for seating. Otherwise existing customers are excessively delayed. Food was about average. I had a crispy salmon sandwich... More

We walked into this wonderful restaurant after hiking all day - still in our dusty hiking attire, but were treated as if we were in our best clothes by Rosa - a very friendly and efficient waitress. Chef Jeff visited with us several times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. It definitely was! Every dish was delicious and... More

Went to this delightful restaurant for a special celebration. High quality food in a nice casual setting. What a treat to eat such well prepared and high quality food! The Chef is amazing! We had the Barramundi which is an Austrailian fish that had a creamy sauce and was served with mashed potatoes with a bit of sauteed arugula with... More
