If you are looking for the best restaurant food in Salida you have to go here. Its as good as any restaurant in Colorado. Margie rocks in the kitchen with her sauces. And its not a big plate with 2 tiny pieces of meat and a bunch of drizzle. Very generous portions of top quality food.

We had dinner at this Restaurant. We visit Salida every two months or so and had wanted to try this restaurant. We had heard the food was great but the service was poor; this is true. My husband loved his dinner and mine also was good. But, our service was poor. From what we observed you had to be a... More

We were very impressed with Laughing Ladies on our first vacation in Salida. The ingredients used there are fresh and often seasonal and local and the preparation is creative. However, on our second stay I had problems with a cut of meat. I've been a resort sous-chef and know that even the most careful of chefs can sometimes draw a... More

We spent a night in Salida during our week long road trip. We had dinner at Laughing Ladies and it definitely ranks up there in the top 10% of dining experiences. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Small town restaurant but very big on quality of food served. We both enjoyed our meals very much, and service was great. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in or near Salida.

We stayed in Solida one night and in addition to it being a very enjoyable little town, we were shocked to find this restaurant (in such a small town) which provided us with one of the highest quality meals we ever ate. I had a fish and polenta special of the day and my wife had a chicken dish and... More

Food is great. Service is hit or miss. Cute place, but the noise is deafening. Should work on their friendliness and service. The cooking can make it worth dealing with the rest.

we visited a girls trip and thought this was going to be the best food in town, it was ok. the bacon bloody mary was made with cocktail sauce instead of blood mary mix, it was horrible, I took one drink and was done with it, except I did eat the huge thick slice of bacon out of it. I... More

We stopped here while travelling south. It was Sunday lunch time and we had food from the brunch menu. The food was good, can't complain about that. The venue was nice as we sat on the patio out the back. We were a little disappointed that the normal lunch menu wasn't offered but only slightly. Service was good and the... More
