Great atmosphere and great service. The steaks were cooked to perfection. No one took home a doggie bag because the food was devoured. I loved that there was not a lot on the menu so it makes for easy quick decisions.

My wife and I decided to try this place. The hostess explained the menu and that they were only serving filet since it was Thursday. We tried it. My wife ordered well and I ordered medium well. They came out rare. Waitress sent them back. Just the steak so the potato sat there getting cold. When they came back my... More

Hello Darell. My name is Zach Ellis, the manager at Quincys Steak & Spirits. I wanted to apologize for your unfortunate experience at my establishment. We are currently in a transitional period with our kitchen staff, although we are quickly back on track. However, that isn't an excuse. I'm sorry for your undercooked steak and cold potato. If your back... More

I stopped in Salida on the way to the East Coast. Had heard of Quincy's and wanted a steak. I was surprised how limited the menu was, but they had what I wanted and the price was right. I had a 12 oz. filet and it was quite good. I would like to stop by again sometime and try the... More

During the week your only choice is a bacon wrapped filet, on weekends, prime rib. Since is was a Thursday your only option is how you want the steak cooked and what you want on your baked potato. The salad is bagged and I couldn't quite place the flavor of the dressing. The steak was mostly properly cooked but chewy... More

First time eating at Quincys in March, 2014. Also the last time. Ordered the steak special of the day, cooked medium. Came to the table rare. Sent it back and it returned from the kitchen cooked "ok" inside - but was actually burned outside on both sides. Steak was chewy.

I was expecting a really good prime rib since the place specializes and only has two things on the menu. The prime rib was okay. The salad dressing (only one choice) was awful. The salad was SO cheap. It came with a VERY boring baked potato. Plain, not so healthy food

The lure of a cheap filet mignon got me in the door. My date thought it was just good-nothing more. I was disappointed that the "lure" did not match expectations. It's not that it's bad-it's that it doesn't live up to the hype.

This restaurant has a very limited menu, it's either prime rib or steak. Either choice has the usual sides of baked potato and salad. My prime rib was very good, and they had head ripping horse radish - yum! Dessert was amazing as well, and it was a bargain, I thought.

The formula is straight forward. You can have a steak, salad, baked potato and a piece of bread. The steak varies depending on the night. You can choose how the steak is cooked and the size in 3oz increments from 6oz to 15oz. The food is well cooked and good value, the restaurant is very dimly lit, but otherwise good.
