This is a smaller restaurant. It has a bar for adults and a TV for you to watch sports. It has artsy decor and wifi for the kids. The service was excellent. The food was ok. One of my daughters ordered the burger and the other ate the fries; they said it was good. My husband had a burger also,... More

The Food was good and the decorations were great, they have wifi. It's smaller then other restaurants. They have TVs for parents to watch the news and football. The people are very nice and you can ask them if they have stuff that isn't on the menu. The prices are good. The Fritz is a great place to go!!

The fritz has very good food, particularly for a smaller town like salida. Brusell sprouts were the stand out for me. All in all a nice place, perhaps slightly overpriced but a very good way to spend an evening.

Our family of 6 ate here in the afternoon. The food was delicious. No kid meals but they offered to cook grilled cheese. We opted to have them share a plain hamburger meal. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The meat was extremely tasty. The service was "relaxed". One waitress for the whole place and she did a great job... More

My spouse and I were on a quick trip to Colorado from Texas in October 2013 (but since I am late reviewing, TA will not let me choose a 2013 date) and one of our overnights was in Salida, Colorado, a town we have visited many a time but don't eat out there often. A restaurant called the Fritz was... More

Went for a beers and nibbles, so just ordered a couple of starters. Wow! the presentation and the flavours were exceptional. As good as I have seen in super-high-brow places. Real care had been put into the preparation of a couple of minor dishes. I went to the kitchen and personally thanks the guys in there. Five stars? maybe not,... More

Thanksgiving weekend we wanted a small bite and drink at several places so we could experience more than just a sit down dinner. The Fritz has a good but small selection of tap beers and more small plates than you could hope for. We opted for braised short ribs over potatoes with gorgonzola. It was delicious and a perfect small... More

We went to The Fritz just before the Salida Christmas Parade and there were a lot of people in town. We got seated at The Fritz and Corey immediately started to work our table. Super service from the beginning and it never changed. Start out with a beer - and they have many. The wife and I then decided to... More

My wife and I stopped in to the Fritz during our vacation in Colorado. Salida is a nice little town and we stopped in to the Fritz because of someones recommendation and the food was much better than either one of us were anticipating. We both just ordered the burger of the day which was a cream cheese, red wine... More

6pm on a sunday nite after a snowstorm. Great service. Many specials, accomadating for GF diet. Full bar, so I nabbed a shot of anejo tequila. Chopped salad special with a touch of basil was super.
