What a treat!

So nice to find an excellent restaurant for lunch when on a long road trip. This restaurant we thought better than many in Aspen. We all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. All was fresh, original and delicious.

Second time we've been here, and it was better than we remembered. Their small plates (tapas) is just the way we like to enjoy a meal out. Everything we tried was outstanding. Great little place in a great little town. We'll be back.

My wife and I decided to stop at the Fritz since we were intrigued by the TripAdvisor reviews and its high rating. We were not disappointed. The interior looks like your classic bar but the kitchen has elevated the food to an higher degree. We picked two small plates from the standard menu. The truffle fries were excellent and there... We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh and interesting menu choices. The service was good and the food was delicious! My only complaint was that it was terribly noisy. We want to try it again when the weather is warm and we can use the outside seating.

Stopped In two restaurants on the highway, terrible weird menus and one soup And sandwich shop was out of soup and sandwiches! Circles old town and tried our luck here. Our server Allie was helpful and friendly. Good service. The was still eclectic but we decided on sandwiches after a thorough explanation by Allie. My braised pork was very flavorful... More

This is a smaller restaurant. It has a bar for adults and a TV for you to watch sports. It has artsy decor and wifi for the kids. The service was excellent. The food was ok. One of my daughters ordered the burger and the other ate the fries; they said it was good. My husband had a burger also,... More

The Food was good and the decorations were great, they have wifi. It's smaller then other restaurants. They have TVs for parents to watch the news and football. The people are very nice and you can ask them if they have stuff that isn't on the menu. The prices are good. The Fritz is a great place to go!!

The fritz has very good food, particularly for a smaller town like salida. Brusell sprouts were the stand out for me. All in all a nice place, perhaps slightly overpriced but a very good way to spend an evening.

Our family of 6 ate here in the afternoon. The food was delicious. No kid meals but they offered to cook grilled cheese. We opted to have them share a plain hamburger meal. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The meat was extremely tasty. The service was "relaxed". One waitress for the whole place and she did a great job... More

My spouse and I were on a quick trip to Colorado from Texas in October 2013 (but since I am late reviewing, TA will not let me choose a 2013 date) and one of our overnights was in Salida, Colorado, a town we have visited many a time but don't eat out there often. A restaurant called the Fritz was... More
