This little Mexican restaurant is well worth it. Family owned. We stopped for dinner while staying in Salida, CO for the 4th of July. It is not much from the outside, but the inside is what counts. This had not been open very long. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. The streak was done the... More

My husband and son are very picky about their hamburgers. Me not so much, but they think Backroads Grill has the best burgers in the valley. They always get the huge burger. I get a variety of things depending on my mood. Their burgers are good--I get the blue cheese burger usually with delicious sweet potato fries. Their regular fries... More

They offer salads, barbecue and sandwiches. It is a nice friendly place. The food was good. We enjoyed having one of the owners sit and visit with us.

The restaurant is pleasant and their burgers and mexican food are pretty good. Their green chili is wonderful. They used to brew their own beer but no longer do so. They do have a couple of beers on tap.

The guacamole looked and tasted like they bought it at Walmart. Other than that it was good and so were the fires. My wife started with the... More

we tried to check out this place, but never got served. After several minutes, we never even got a menu. We left, but I'm not sure anyone noticed!

This is a locals hangout. We were the only customers that the waitress did not know. Service was quick and friendly and the hamburger was juicy. They have a wider menu and brew their own beer.
