We went in fairly late at night and LOVED the atmosphere - it was nice and cool and the windows were up so that most of the place felt like it was outside. There was a bar and friendly staff! We had great customer service especially from the bartender at the time - I got the Boathouse Rellenos - never... More

We sat on the patio with a beautiful view of the river. Plenty of choices on the menu, good service, live entertainment and the place was clean.

It is right along the Arkansas river so the atmosphere is nice. They have a nice variety of beer and food. I had ordered the fish taco which was surpringly good. I live in Florida and was a bit hesitant to order mahi. However it tasted fresh and spiced nicely. We also had an appetizer of mussels which were as... More

Being an out-of-towner this is my third or fourth trip to this restaurant. The times I went previously were during the winter. Quality of food and service has not changed. If it did change it was for the better. Eating here during the summer is such a great idea. The location there on the river is pretty amazing with the... More

We had a delicious meal of a burger and chicken sandwich and fries while sitting in a indoor/outdoor dining area right above the Arkansas River. The atmosphere was lively, the service excellent and the food generous and delicious.

The scenery is great owing to its location overlooking the Arkansas River at a popular play spot. However the food is not consistently fresh., On two occasions the avocado was brown and cucumbers were past their prime. But overall I still like the place and would go back. I rate it 3.5 stars.

Food (Portobello sandwich)-so-so; ate half. Sweet potato 'waffles' didn't taste like what I normally have. Service-OK.

After a day at the Great Sand Dunes Natl Park, we stopped to check out Salida and get some dinner. Salida is great town with a cool riverfront park. We selected Boathouse Cantina for dinner, what a fun choice! We could sit and see the action on the river from our table. And, the food was really good! We ordered... More

This is not your typical Tex-Mex fare. Food is interesting, tasty, served quickly and in an inviting environment. The fish tacos were delicious and The serving size was just right. We went to this restaurant for the view but the food was really the star. The views of the river are good but not as good as other restaurants in... More
