Terrible!!! The bouncer was completely drunk and rude!!! The bartender just made excuses for his absolutely rude and inappropriate behavior!!!!! I will never visit this establishment again!!! Unacceptable and obnoxious!! You want me to pay to be treated like this?! No thanks!! I'll take my business elsewhere!! And I did!! I was treated with respect!! I think I'll visit the... More

Beer was good. We were hungry and asked the bartender, he had no idea where to grab a bite. Said there was a restaurant next door but he couldn't remember the name... Not very helpful or friendly as a visitor.

Reasonable price, large selection, peanut shells on the floor, laid-back locals atmosphere, old-time shuffleboard table, live music from time to time: time-honored formula.

We had drinks (wine for me, beer for my husband) one afternoon because we'd heard of this tavern from visitors and locals alike. We sat at the bar enjoying the atmosphere, admiring all the collectibles hanging on the walls, the dart board and juke box, and the Old West furnishings while visiting with a charming bartender named Nikki. We were... More

Down home type bar in the heart of Salida's historic district. Peanuts hulls go on the floor. Lots of locals who know each other gather here in addition to visitors. Just down the street from Riverside Park. Convenient to browsing the shops.

Hit a few bars in Salida while we were there one night. Bensons is neat, Tenderfoot was scary (I had more teeth than all the other barflies combined) but when we stopped into the Victoria Tavern, we hit the jackpot. This great old corner bar in downtown Salida had a band the night we were there. We feel rather lucky... More

By far the best bar I have been to in Colorado.. Came here on vacation to ski. Went and had great food and such friendly service. Would never be forgotten. Lost my car keys throughout the night of partying. Went back to Vic's looking for them next morning. No site of them there. I was scared shitless that I would... More

Drinks relatively inexpensive, friendly bartenders, comfortable atmosphere. You can eat the peanuts on the tables and counters and throw the shells on the floor. My husband hangs out at this bar while I shop and I meet him for a drink when I finish!

Okay, I'm a little afraid to ruin this for the locals, so if you visit - be cool. Good selection of beer - try the local - Elevation IPA. Beautiful old oak bar - would love to know the history of that. A phone booth - yes - a phone booth. A nice bartender with the bluest eyes. honest, I... More

Went there for drinks because it's the only place in town that serves Guiness, that we know of and that's my fiance's beer of choice. It's a locals type of bar, so keep that in mind.
