What a great place!

We tried this on whim a few months ago; went back last week to see if it was still as wonderful. The baked goods are original; the wood-stove brought back memories of my grandmother's place. The portions are fair and the prices outstanding. We love seeing the local cowboys swapping stories.

This very small town bakery and diner is quite a find. The baked goods are very yummy. Tons of local color in a beautiful small Rockies town. Take the time to get off the highway and check out this bakery and the whole town.

What a delightful find.....delicious breakfast served during all operating hours....plus....and this is a big plus......yummy bakery items to take for on the road snacking. The French toast made with their bakery bread was great as was the selection of bakery breads to go with eggs. I had the jalapeño cheddar. :) The hardest decision was which bakery treat to take... If you're lookin' for good eats as a good price, this is the place. Very homey, popular with the locals and friendly staff. When passing through the area, take a little detour a few blocks off the highway and stay a bit for some good grub.

It is worth taking a 4 block detour off the highway to find this gem. Homemade bread and pies, natural ingredients, great service. The women's restroom deserves a 10, too.

My husband and I found this wonderful diner a few years ago passing through Saguache (suh-watch). We recently stayed at Joyful Journeys Spa and knew we must visit again. Two days in row we went for breakfast, and the eggs, toast--made from home make bread--and hash browns (we asked for crunchy ones) were superb. The only thing I didn't like... More

Fresh ingredients; imaginative dishes, and friendly service. Hard to find, but here it is in the smallest out-of-way little town. Worth a tripartite!

I had a cheeseburger, very good, with sweet potato fries, delicious. I took a slice of pecan pie to go. My waitress was adorable. This is a much-needed shot in the arm for this little town, which is trying to revive itself.

Had breakfast and went back for lunch! Best French toast with their own baked bread. Very good and simple omelet my husband had. Nicely cooked with lots of avocado. Great rye toast too. Went to the hot springs and decided to do lunch heading back through.not too hungry so we split a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Atmosphere is friendly, we... More
