Great turkey sandwich- -and cuisine quality side salad for $8. We appreciated the atmosphere, both in authentic diner decor, and locals stepping in to talk about water, family and what-not. It was totally authentic. Service was great. Food was great.

Had a green chili cheeseburger made with organic local grass-fed beef, and it was the best burger I've ever eaten. They bake their own buns as well as an assortment of pies, bread, rolls, cookies, and cakes. My wife loves their green chili breakfast burrito, which is available all day. Everything is home-made, even the potato salad. The dining room is... More

Burger and onion rings were great. All types of homemade pies to choose from. The best part was the old time atmosphere. Very friendly.

Passing through Saguache, CO and couldn't have asked for a better place to stop and have lunch. The food was amazing, try the breakfast burrito or the burger. People were so friendly and the place was clean and inviting. We stayed for coffee, fresh donuts and a piece of Apple pie. The desserts are terrific! All in all a great... More

I joke about the local beef burger being the best in Saguache, but it is actually the best in region and one of the best burgers I had in Colorado. I've been here multiple times and never been disappointed. After hiking in Great Sand Dunes National Park, this is a refreshing stop. Saguache is a great little town and the... More

Great food and cozy environment but the kitchen's slowed to a crawl. We've been waiting .5 hr plus for a simple breakfast!

We arrived very early one morning and asked a man sitting on a bench outside if the diner was open. He replied "Oh yes" and said the owner is "back there peeling apples for today's apple pie". Everything was small town charming and the food was delicious!

This is a great little diner. Good food. Friendly people. You might even see a cowboy with his gun in his holster.

In early September of this year, the hubby and I spent a night at Joyful Journey Hot Springs resort in the north end of the San Luis Valley of Colorado. We asked the staff about a good place for lunch, and they recommended this place on main street in Saguache, about 15 minutes drive away, What a delightful - and... More
