Every time we go, we find more things on the menu we enjoy. Eating healthy is important to us, and Kate's Place offers lots of healthy options. Their prices are very reasonable, and they try to use local fresh and organic when they can.

Walking into Kate's Place, the design and layout was very clean cut. It was comfortable and welcoming. The corned beef hash with eggs and WHITE CHEDDAR GRITS were soooo good. The blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes were cooked perfectly with wonderful flavors. I would highly recommend trying it before driving to Telluride to hit the slopes.

Cute atmosphere, very friendly staff. We ordered the corned beef hash, a classic egg & bacon breakfast, and a stack of Lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, and shared. Yum! Everything was so tasty. It was one of the only places that we could find open this time of the year for breakfast, and it didn't dissappoint. We were told it was... More

I have been for breakfast and lunch. Anything you order will be excellent. They have unique flavors and lots of organic foods. One of Ridgway's best!

We frequent this restaurant, particularly during the spring, summer & fall weather when we can sit in the comfortable outdoor tables area where our dog is also welcome. Friendly service and plentiful servings. Specials everyday for breakfast and lunch. Definitely stop here when hungry in Ridgway.

The ingredients are always fresh, the service is excellent and the ranchero sauce was so delicious on my daughter's huevos that I got a side for my spinach and mushroom omelette. We drive over an hour and a half to breakfast at Kates! Thank goodness they serve it all day!!

Kate's is known locally for having a fresh and delicious lunch and breakfast menu. The waitress is always such a sweetie. I love some of the different things they do like salmon omelettes. Yum! My reason for giving 4/5 is because the last time we were there they had a chicken gyros with tzatziki sauce as the special which sounded... More

Went out of our way to go back to Kate's Place it was so good. Turkey panini, french drip sandwich, biscuits and gravy, home fries, and lemon creme cake are all worth mentioning. I should've stuck to the regular menu, but tried a daily "special" gyro, which was not very special at all. Everything else was so good, that it's... More

I had left Telluride early one morning and wasn't quite ready for breakfast. After about an hour I hit Ridgway and discovered Kate's Place. It was packed, but while in line the couple in front of me asked if I'd like to join them. We had great conversation and even greater breakfasts. When we finished I headed back to the... More

Stopped by Kate's place for breakfast. Very busy place, but the wait was less than 10 minutes. My husband ordered the corn beef hash because he read that they roast and cure their own meat, only to find that they had run out the day before. So he had the biscuits and gravy instead which were very good. My omelet... More
