Food good, service wanting

Eight of us were excited that Mozart's opened again for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays; we went there for a birthday and Bon Voyage party on March 13, I believe. The food was actually better than it had been before they closed and only catered but the service was very wanting. The gals were nice... read more

My husband and I had a gift certificate for Mozarts so we thought we would try it for a Saturday night out. The service was horrible, we waited 15 minutes just for water and another 10 to order. The menu is very limited and the wine list was worse. The steaks were good, but bread was cut up sandwich buns... More

We were so excited to hear that Mozart's opened again!! We went in on a Saturday night for dinner with family and friends, was kinda of shocked that the place wasn't more busy. I ordered the Salmon and everyone else ordered the Prime-rib, we also ordered the olives and peppers as an appetizer. Needless to say the food was amazing!!... More

Ok, normally i dont like reality shows like Restaurant Stakeout because they are obviously contrived. Not in this case. Management needs to train staff. When my wife and i walked in for lunch, in well dressed business attire, we stopped at the sign that said please wait to be seated. We waited, and soon one waitress hurried past us to... More

Went with friends for Prime Rib Night, (actually served Friday and Saturday). Meal served with fresh backed bread, choice of soup AND choice of salad. All four of us had prime rib which was very good. Also had dessert, which was an excellent bread pudding. Very pleasant surprise, with great service and cozy atmosphere. Parking a little limited, so you... More

We joined another couple for dinner on Saturday night. We were greeted promptly by Paul, the owner, and even though I had neglected to call for reservations, he graciously accommodated us. We had cocktails in the lounge area where the wait staff were neatly dressed and very pleasant. Our dinners were very good, the atmosphere was conducive to conversation even... More

When we went in very gloomy, you could here staff cusing n running a muck in back. Paul the owner instead of taking care of his buisness, he was sitting at the bar drinking? Also the language the servers had and could hear everything. Had to send food back. Guess they do not know how to cook a steak. Green... More

My husband and I had dinner with another couple on a Friday night. We arrived at 6 PM and the restaurant was half full. The decor has not changed much in 40 years but it has the old atmosphere that I miss with modern restaurants. It was nice to be able to have a converstaion with friends without having to... More

The new restaurant is located across the street from where the old, original one was. Sabe Concialdi was the original owner, and his family came from Agnone, Italy, near Sant' Elia a Pianisi, from where my Riccillo family came. The Theatre crowd used to hang out there. When I was playing Romeo in a 1972 production of Romeo and Juliet,... More

We ate at Mozarts Saturday July 14 after a long day. We were looking for a "local place". Our son who lives in Pueblo suggested Mozarts. The food was great and the service was even better. We wanted to sit outside, it was getting late and cooling off. This was no problem and we were the only people on the... More
