Chile Rellenos and green chile salsa, some of the best.

This is a wonderful family restaurant nearly 40 years old in Pueblo. I try to eat here whenever we drive through Colorado. We stopped there in May on our way to Colorado. I had my grandkids who loved the Sopapillas. The owner is the son of the original owner and is very nice. He brought us samples... read more

This place has not changed since I was a kid and that's a good thing. The food is great, the service is great, and they still have the same cups and plates since I was a kid! Look, it's cheap Mexican food done well and the service is amazing. If you can get over the restaurant looking the same for... More

I wanted to love this place; I'm a Pueblo native and have heard raves about this place for years. The place was mobbed so I figured it had to be good, right? I thought it was a bit pricey so I ordered two items off the a la carte menu. The green chile didn't have a lot of flavor; I... More

My husband and I stopped by to eat here today on our way through pueblo. Ordered the El burro and smothered burritos. Excellent! All homemade! Not to mention, wonderful and prompt service. Was a very satisfing experience. (Exceptional red and green chile)

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we were looking forward to having lunch here. I'm told it's been in business for 34 years and very popular. We arrived around 11:30 to a fairly full house with only two tables and some counter seats left. They also do a brisk take out business. The wait staff was very friendly and... More

We were in the mood for delicious Mexican food and boy did we find it here! I had chicken enchiladas, our children wanted cheese enchiladas, and my husband had one of the house specialties (don't recall the name). Everything was freshly-made and delicious. The green chili was amazing, too! I am not from this region of the country, and I... More

I lived in Pueblo Colorado for 18 years and ate here almost once a week. Since 1998 I have lived in Las Vegas and every time I fly back to town I come straight here to eat before I do anything else, the only drawback is it must be a weekday, they are closed on the weekends. I have been... More

This was the worst "Mexican" food I've had in years. I ordered cheese enchiladas because the flautas were made with flour tortillas instead of corn, as they shoud be. The enchiladas were filled with someting akin to Cheez Whiz, at least it tasted like Cheez Whiz. The red chili it was covered with was the color and consistency of tomato... More

If you've never been to the Mill Stop, it's time to change that. This is one of the best restaurants in Pueblo, despite appearances, and there is almost always a line waiting outside.

Sometimes there is a wait. The food is always great and so is the service. Very seldom are they not busy. Food is worth the wait. A great little family owned restaurant. We have been going there for over twenty years. Love it.
