Recently, my wife and I took a trip to Pueblo, just to see how friendly Colorado had actually become. We chose this place to eat as Indian food can typically be made vegetarian. Located in the Historic District of downtown Pueblo, arriving at this location is easy and puts you in walking distance from many of Pueblo's nicer "attractions". The... More

This resteraunt has the best Indian good I have ever had! We've been there a few time and the service is kind of hit or miss, our last time was less than stellar, but the food is so incredible and the owners make such a personalized effort to make you feel welcomed; it's worth it. When you go, ask for... More

Pueblo is called blue town because it is a blue collar community, half white, 45% hispanic, and 5% other. Yelp shows Mr. Tandoori as the number one restaurant in town. Really? An Indian restaurant? I’m sure the rating comes from getting the most superlatives. We agree. The word that comes to mind is “extreme.” The exotic decor is way over... More

Mr. Tandoori provided delicious "home-cooked" meals, from soups to main dishes to desserts. The food is spicy, so beware: order mild if you are not used to authentic Indian foods.

I don't pretend to be an expert in Indian cuisine, but I have eaten in a few Indian restaurants and Mr. Tandori's is one of my favorites. I have eaten here often alone and with friends. At lunch they have a great buffet. The atmosphere is very colorful and cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I just love... More

Most importantly we went to Mr. Tandoori while driving through Pueblo on our way to Taos. We had read about it on Trip Advisor and love Indian food, which is impossible to find where we live. The restaurant was closing, but the owner was kind enough to keep it open and keep his staff there so we could eat there.... More

This was our first time trying Indian food and it was wonderful. The mango chicken tikki the waitress recommended was scrumptious. The cheese naan bread was yummy. The cucumber water refreshing. Service was quick and friendly. If we are ever in the area we'd go back in a heartbeat!

The last visit was pretty poor and disappointing. Did the buffet and seemed like food was from the day before and it was barely warm. Overall taste was pretty standard which for a place like this is too bad. I'm sure next time I'm in town I'll give it another shot...unless there is a different Indian place to try.
