Had the chipotle sause chicken for dinner. I enjoyed it although it seemed about the same as our local mexican restaurant back home. Good drinks and service.

We had dinner while staying the night on route through western Colorado. The food is tasty (but not excellent) and the atmosphere feels authentic. I thought prices were a little high but portions are huge. My pina colada came with whipped cream but had almost no alcohol in it. It was refreshingly cold but I didn't really want ice cream!... You probably not hear any English being spoken in the background but the food is wonderful. The specialties of the house are huge servings but you'll want to take some home anyway. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've encountered in Colorado.

Very seldom eat this style of food but this place has changed my mind about this kind of food. After the first visit had to return the next day to try it again, the food is just outstanding and the staff is so helpful. Next visit to this area I will return to enjoy some more of this good food.

Staying in Parachute, we looked for a place for take out dinner as we are traveling with our dog. El Tapatio was recommended by locals so we tried it and were very happy with the choice. A local place with homemade food, no corporate Mexican. Food was tasty and ample. Definitely recommend to those staying in Parachute!

We were a bit frustrated by our servers lack of English and it only got worse when a number of wrong dishes were brought out and we had to wait again for the right ones. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but it fit the bill as we were very hungry after a white water rafting trip. It was close... More

We have eaten at all three, Colorado, locations, numerous times over the past few years and have always been pleased with the service and food. Last week, I took visiting family, to the Parachute restaurant and they surpassed all my expectations. The friendly staff seemed delighted to meet my extended family and fussed over us like we were old friends.... More

I really liked my meal, I thought the pollo con chipotle was excellent. The service is what prompted me to give the four star review though. I'd eat there again!
