This is such a quaint restaurant. You get home cooked meals that taste great and are inexpensive. The staff is just a delight to speak to, very friendly and they provide great service. There is even a train the runs along a track up near the ceiling. They only serve breakfast on the weekends, but they have the best bacon... More

We were riding our Motorcycle through Palmer Lake last weekend, trying to avoid 1-25 traffic and ran across THE DEPOT, stopped in for lunch and the staff was all so friendly! They allowed us to sit where we wanted, so we took a window seat and was able to watch the Coal Trains go by outside. My husband ordered the... More

This place is run by American Legion volunteers for the Legion, and is a clean, inexpensive, local burgers-and-beer joint. (Their burgers are, however, rated highly in the Colorado Springs food reviews.) My rating of 4 is based on what the restaurant is trying to do - it's not the Broadmoor. Dinner is only served on Wed-Fri and Sunday nights. Home... More

Not sure why this place stays open...nothing you would want to eat here. Clearly no one in the kitchen has a clue.

The staff at this restaurant Is so incredibly friendly, making you feel warm and welcomed! The food is tasty home-style. Good folks eat here - you'll see mostly bikes and pickups in the parking lot.

The Depot serves good, basic food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is kind of neat with lots of train memorabilia. Oh, did I mention there is a model train running around a track hanging from the ceiling? It keeps me entertained. The menu is basically bar food plus a few Mexican dishes. I would not drive very far out... More

To bad they have not figured out how make anything I want to eat in their kitchen. Tried it a couple different times but have crossed it off the list.

Great char broiled burger on a kaiser roll. Selection of two sides with the burger, was a lot of food. My friend had a burrito and loved the green chili. Everyone was very nice.

I went to the Depot Restaurant tonight for the first time with my sister, brother-in-law and their 2 kids of 1 and 4. Saturday nights they have bingo nights for members of the American Legion because the restaurant is actually run by American Legion Volunteers and they only work for tips. It was very slow while we were there since... More

If you like trains you will love the Depot. Suprisingly run by the local American Legion Volunteers. Great burger, cold beer. Large scale model train runs around the ceiling. Most stop if you are into trains.
