We ate at the Palisade Cafe and Grill for lunch one day. They have all the standard American cuisine. I had a BLT, and it was pretty standard, but not in a bad way. The fries were good. Our server was friendly and helpful. I would go there again.

Their asian chicken salad is the best! The friendliness of the management and the server was outstanding! The chef always makes us feel at home, and values our opinion about the food. He even gave us free dessert for trying his grandmas homemade carrot cake, which was fantastic, by the way! Very clean and great atmosphere. Good value

This is a local cafe that serves fabulous food. When you go in be sure to try PoorBoy Fish Sandwhich, Asian Chicken Salad or one of their burgers. The staff is very friendly and they give excellent customer service. Oh and dont forget to try their homemade carrot cake. So if you are in Palisade be sure to stop in.

Traditional eatery. old fashion comfort food. Friendly, sometimes overworked, staff. They don't watch your calories, so you better. local tradition.

Its got a nice dining room, they feature live music at times, a decent bar. Food is ok, nothing I'd write home about. It features salads, sandwiches, and burgers. They have a chalkboard sign out front declaring that they have the best burger in town... its not. I had a preformed patty and it was cooked well done. I can... More

After touring the wine cellar we stopped in the cafe for a late lunch. The burgers and fries were good but not exceptional. Every table was filled with locals and tourists and refilled as they emptied yet the staff managed to keep up and maintain there cool. Good Job.

Things go wrong in the kitchen and it isn't the servers fault. They are your interface with the establishment and having worked in restaurants for 30 years I am always polite and friendly. So when I informed the wonderful waitress that the beans on her favorite breakfast were not cooked you might expect an apology and interest in making things... More

Decent Cafe food, nice atmosphere. Service is really not good. They are busy, but really??? Dont be in a rush and you will have to remind waitress many times what you need. we visited three times over weekend as one of the only places in town.

This cafe is in central Palisade, and not bad if you don't have time to go to Grand Junction. We had a patty melt and a bacon cheeseburger, both $8.95. Not bad, not great; friendly staff and prompt service.

We were in Paisades on a Monday. Not a good idea as everything is closed. This place is smart to be open on Monday. I ordered the burger and fries, both were terrible. The burger tasted like it was right from the freezer and the fries had a weird taste to them. Our server was very nice and the restaurant... More
