We had a good lunch

We had one daily special of tortellini soup with sausage, grilled cheese and salad ($7.95). It was a great deal and very good, particularly the soup and salad. We saw some French fries that looked good so we order a ½ portion ($2.50). They were sweet potato fries and were very crisp and good. We... read more

My sister and I stopped for lunch while traveling in August. The place was packed. Our wait was short. Cute place, good food, great staff! Worth the stop!

So delicious and close by the markets, very friendly server and clean environment. Everyone in Palisades welcomed me as a visitor to their town.

Came with my sister, her husband, their 7 year old, and my 4 year old twins, we couldn't seat together. We had to seat at 2 separate tables because they will not accommodate "groups" i.e. move tables... The food was good.

Burger was flavorless. Meat was a very poor quality with lots of filler. The color was grey versus a beef color. The cole slaw had flavor but was sitting in too much liquid. My husband had fries. They were a poor quality potato and tasteless. I have had breakfast there before which was fine. I would not return for lunch.

I should have read these reviews before I set foot in the place. It was the Sunday morning of the Palisade Bluegrass Festival. There were several empty tables and two servers. After reading the menu for several minutes and watching the waitresses waltz by ignoring what could be their next big tip I realized they had very low street smarts.... More

We always go to local places & of course there's a wide variety among them. This cute little restaurant was not a standout in any way so we'll likely not return. Neither my husband's Reuben or my patty melt were actually grilled; the bread was swirly & pretty but tasteless & barely warm. The Reuben had a decent amount of... More

We ate at the Palisade Cafe and Grill for lunch one day. They have all the standard American cuisine. I had a BLT, and it was pretty standard, but not in a bad way. The fries were good. Our server was friendly and helpful. I would go there again.

Their asian chicken salad is the best! The friendliness of the management and the server was outstanding! The chef always makes us feel at home, and values our opinion about the food. He even gave us free dessert for trying his grandmas homemade carrot cake, which was fantastic, by the way! Very clean and great atmosphere. Good value

This is a local cafe that serves fabulous food. When you go in be sure to try PoorBoy Fish Sandwhich, Asian Chicken Salad or one of their burgers. The staff is very friendly and they give excellent customer service. Oh and dont forget to try their homemade carrot cake. So if you are in Palisade be sure to stop in.
