We tried to eat here last Sunday but the place was jammed packed and so crowded there wasn't even standing room. It was also too loud to even hear the person next to you - the noise level was deafening. There were several people eating outside even though it was cold, so they do have a porch area for dining.... Thank you for taking the time to respond. It was very busy the Sunday night you are referring to. It happened to be our Wolf Creek ski area closing day party and we had a great crowd and a great band to celebrate the end of the ski season. I am sorry you were not able to find a table... More

We enjoyed the menu and the quality. More food than we could eat! I love the jalapeño peppers, stuffed with cream cheese and bacon wrapped. Also, enjoyed tortilla soup.

Busy place so we gave it a try. The green chili burger was a couple broiled lunchroom patties smothered in mediocre chili sauce & shredded cheese on a bun. I have had better meals in a military chow hall ! The others had tacos that were "OK". I guess it's all relative to what you are used to eating. Never... More

Love this quaint place in Pagosa, they have the best fish tacos! Hunker down at the bar for some good brews and lively conversation with the locals..find out the other treasured spots in Pagosa Springs!

They have top shelf drinks for cheap. I ordered a hussong margarita with contreau on the rocks and it was only $6. Compared to back home that is a steal. The fish tacos and the menu item number 2 were the bomb! !! The place is small but they have live music so the atmosphere is well worth a short... More

Thought that the nachos looked promising because of the addition of the green chiles. But the nachos were so salty that it felt like eating pure salt! Friendly bartenders and cozy interior ambiance.

My wife had the grilled chicken Torta with a side of black beans. It was just okay but the avocado slices and chipotle cream cheese that came with it made it better. The black beans were quite tasteless, even with cheese melted on top. It was as though they'd come straight out of a can. I had the fish tacos.... More

One of the best and most popular restaurants in town for lunch. Great hamburgers and Philly steaks (on Fridays). Good selection of beers. Generally crowded and always packed when the tourists are here in volume. Very small, crowded and noisy. Has deck in warm weather. Very little parking. Must use main street.

We love Kips. Great baja style tacos, wonderful sauces. Don't miss the white cream sauce and the pure jalapeño sauce. Chicken, fish, pork or beef you can't go wrong and we love the Pilewski! They have a great steak special sometimes and if it is on the menu you will love it.

I originally went to Kip's Cantina with my family of four to have a Friday night dinner but with an hour wait for a table, we left and went elsewhere. The next day I went there for lunch by myself at 1:30 pm, and it was still packed. Every inside table was taken on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered food... More
