We've got lots of comparable taco places in Denver so I have a lot to compare this place to. I like the relaxed ambiance and the staff were very efficient and friendly. But I must say I've had better fish tacos at any number of places. Mine were dry and not particularly tasty or unique. Kinda just bland. Perhaps there... More

We loved the tacos and the beet salad. Fish tacos are my brother's fAvorite. He loved the fish tacos here. I had the Americano tacos, ground beef. Drinks were good too.

There are so many different types of tacos here you will find something that will satisfy your deep inner longing for the perfect taco. Have been here on both of my visits to Pagosa Springs; my sister who lives there always brings guests to Kips. It is very busy at times and is a tiny little place, but the reason... More

Very nice restaurant with nice original choices. We had the spicy shrimp tacos and Buffalo Burger. Both were delicious. The staff was friendly and my water glass was never empty, The fresh salsa was delicious. It was served with the chips and burger and tacos. We will eat there again.

You owe it to yourself to go to Kip's!! Great service, great food. My wife and I have just had the best salsa and chips ever!!! The salsa is home made and the chips are not greasy. My wife had the pork tacos. The meat was lean and the mainade was delish. I had the diablo tacos el carbon converted... More

This is hands down the best lunch spot in Pagosa/Durango combined. We were here for a week and had to keep returning to Kips (addiction? yes). The El Diablo Taco Al Carbon and the Estaban Tacos had some mixture of meat, cheese, magic, and sorcery, for an incredibly low price. The ambience is perfect for a relaxed lunch, and the... More

Came here after a spa day at the Overlook. Great food and $1 ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap before 4pm. Kips does not assess sales tax on alcohol. Great Mexican food at reasonable price and very friendly servers. We had black bean nachos and sirloin tacos al carbon. A plus!

This is a good place for adults because of the bar and adult talk. It's an old house converted into a hamburger/nacho/taco kind of place with a bar. Crowded tables on the inside but not too crowded on the outside porch. They had large screen tvs to watch inside. Food portions were small but the food was good. Good place... More

Kip's is a great little spot to unwind and refuel after a day out hiking. After spending the day out on the Piedras River Trail (see my review on this hidden gem as well) we stopped at Kip's for some time off our feet and some carb loading. Great selection of beers and margaritas. No shortage of portions so if... More

We enjoy eating at Kip's when in Pagosa Springs. The service is good and the staff friendly. I mainly get the fish tacos but my family has tried other dishes and we have all been pleased. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. And sometimes we have been there with live music which has been enjoyable.
