Every time we're in Pagosa we stop at Kip's for a beer and a lunch of Baja tacos. This trip my wife had fish tacos and I went for barbacoa. They were so loaded with fillings the serving of 3 tacos each left us stuffed and the flavors were so good my mouth is starting water writing about it. We... More

We took a weekend getaway to Pagosa Springs. We asked the front desk clerk for her favorite place to eat. She recommended Kips. We really enjoyed the food. The fish tacos are delicious and the shrimp tacos are as well. Kips is a relaxed casual place to eat. It's been added to our list of favorites. Can't wait to return.

This was one of the places my wife and I stopped into on our way back form soaking at the Overlook and it was very good! We were splitting stuff, so we ordered a salad that was wonderful! I can not remember what they called it, but it had candied walnuts, bacon, blue cheese and their house vinaigrette and it... More

We loved the funky, laid back people oriented atmostphere of the former old home with many, many mementoes on the walls that reflected the fun-filled experiences of those who had come before. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. There's also an ourside patio for open air dining and the San Juan River is close at hand. Visit,... More

Mostly burgers and tacos, but they are good and worth the money. Most of the seating is outside. Lots of local beers.

Stoped in for lunch a few weeks ago and the place was packed. Had a beer at the bar and waited on an outside table, took half the time we thought. Lots of daily specials, the fish tacos and roast beef sandwich were great, fun friendly staff.

While on a ski trip to Wolf Creek, girls took a day off to enjoy Pagosa Springs. We choose Kips for our lunch. Best meal if our entire trip. I stepped outside of my box and had the fish tacos. They were amazing and the cilantro sauce was fabulous. Wish I had taken a photo of the bottle, as they... More

Had dinner here at the suggestion of a friend who loves the place. Service attentive and they were really busy. The food was good enough, not exceptional. Not impressed at all with the atmosphere, indoor or outdoor. It really is a bar with good food. Just not into the bar scene that evening I guess. Worth a visit but go... More

Kips is a local hangout on main street that is full every night and on Friday night, it looked like mainly locals (off season in September), but the place was still full. They have lots of waiters who are very quick to help. The fish tacos were the draw we had been told about and they were good, but not... More
