The first time my husband and I tried to have dinner here they said it was going to be about a 30 minute wait so we opted out. Granted that was a Friday night and we could see that the place was packed solid so a wait was understandable. Saturday we came earlier, 5:30ish, and were seated right away. We... More

I don't understand why this restaurant is so popular. My son who will eat anything said their burgers are dry and tasteless. Said the same about the seafood Alfredo, the tasteless part. The waitress with the brace on her leg gave us excellent service but when we returned and received Danielle, service was terrible. Danielle dropped our meals and never... More

We went to this restaurant because it was listed as being "Gluten Free friendly" on the Pagosa website. However, after arriving and being put on the "wait" list (45 minutes out). We noticed two things; one…NO Gluten Free Menu, and two…the restaurant was completely empty, yet there was a wait of 45 minutes?! Okay…thanks, but "no…we will go somewhere else."

We stopped in at Boss Hogg's on our way home from Durango. The BBQ was really good. I had the smoked pork sandwich and it was some of the best pulled pork I've had in Colorado. The sides were good and the portions were more than adequate. The service and ambiance was top notch for a BBQ place.

There is a salad bar and since this was our first visit we were unsure if the salad plates were at the salad bar or brought to the table. When we asked the server she responded that she was a busy lady and was bringing our salad plates. Not a good first impression for this most popular restuarant.

We were not going to Boss Hoggs's during our visit to Pagosa Springs because my husband looked up the reviews on line and they were very mixed. But, I met a couple who said they had a terrific dinner there that evening before for their 26th anniversary, so I convinced my husband to try it. We did, last night, and... More

Went here by recommendation of a local outfitter. Good food, great beer selection! It was pretty busy, so depending on the time of year, it may include a bit of a wait, but I suppose that's to be expected in towns like Pagosa. Give it a try!

Waited a long time and the food was just OK, nothing special for how expensive it was. Small salad bar that was good.

We did the early bird special for prime rib and it was an excellent meal. Even though a special, we got very generous portions of prime rib. Service was excellent, though we were there on a Saturday night. Pricing was very reasonable. We liked the decor and atmosphere. Will definitely be back next trip through here.

Food was great, nice variety to accommodate each member of my group, and bar had great selection as well. Enjoyed the soup and salad bar with a perfectly prepared rib-eye steak. Price reasonable too.
