Recent Pagosa Trip

Spent a week in pagosa and had the opportunity to eat here twice. Both times the staff and service were great. Both times had pizza and it was some of the best pizza I have had outside the NY area. I highly recommend DSP if you are looking for a casual place to grab some great food (try the... read more

This is a local staple for pizza and stromboli. The food was good but then something happened and then it just wasn't. It wasn't tasty, well prepared or fresh. The wings were overdone and the pizza crust hard and unappetizing.

Fresh food, clearly thought out and executed. Live music, but not too loud. Not a lot of seating, but it adds to the charm. Prepare to be full. Nice portions. Quite reasonable for the quality of the meal.

Cool little place. The pizza was really good (NY style) and the staff was nice! The place was packed and one of their ovens broke down the night we went. We were told that it could take 1 1/2 hours for a pizza and we're going to leave but our son wanted pizza. I'm glad we stayed. Although all the... More

This weekend is just not the weekend for my family to be eating out in Pagosa Springs. After 2 nights of just average dinner experiences, we had high hopes things would change at DSP. We heard rave reviews from people that had just visited the restaurant and thought pizza is not too hard to mess up, not to mention the... More

Great food the house dressing was amazing, wings are fat and meaty & the pizza was the best part as the crust makes the giant slice of pie taste even more delicious. Its a cool atmosphere to hang out and relax in, guitar playing in the background and sports on the tube. Must go if you're here.

We stopped here on our "down" day between ski days at Wolf Creek. This place is tiny and a sign warns you that it is not "fast" food. We were not in a hurry and enjoyed the eclectic decor and the cool ski/snowboard vibe. We ordered a calzone, a large pizza and a greek salad and everything was fresh and... More

We were thr with all our kids. Lady waiting on us was friendly and fast. Love that you can get individual slices to your liking. I like weird toppings and am tired of eating cheese kids pizza. They have wine and beer too! Peaks pizza is awful rosies is much better.

I'm sitting at about 3.5 stars for this place. But since that's not actually an option, I'm going to leave it at 3 stars, so I don't overrate it. The food was good, obviously homemade. The prices were decent, as well. The space is actually pretty small, so I wouldn't recommend this for big parties. They say they take delivery... More
