Great food, friendly owner, with excellent dishes of the day. Everything we wanted and more. The oysters were huge and succulent.

I have to confess, I was doubtful that a landlocked mountain town could serve good seafood. I was delightfully surprised and pleased to find that I was wrong. Food was delicious - reminiscent of Italian see food restaurants in San Francisco. Delicious sauces and shrimp. Loved the friendly service. And you have to check out the Chivalrous Shark poem on... I first called from my hotel room to inquire about gluten-free options, and the lady I spoke with was so incredibly patient and friendly. She went through the entire GF menu items over the phone, ensuring that she was knowledgeable about what I was talking about, and had such a variety of options. My husband and I immediately left the... More

I’ve been traveling around the world and have tried a lot of food. Was pleasantly surprised the meal in this restaurant. Delicious , exquisite and unique. Try “Seafood Wellington” or “Campachana”

We have visited several Pagosa Springs restaurants over 4 visits. Most I wouldn't go back to, and this one is one of those. A lot of the entrees were Cajun and I can't handle spice so I ordered the fried oysters. I've had oysters in NOL and they were small so you could just pop them into your mouth. These... More

I would not have expected to enjoy a seafood restaurant so much in rural Colorado, but we heard some good things. I'm so glad we tried it out! Great cocktail menu, wonderful apps and main dishes. I had the Thai basil with shrimp and scallops, and every bite was full of seafood. The outdoor area is great, the floor is... More

The food was OK, but certainly not in the above average range. The server wrote down the wrong entree for me, so I waited another 15 minutes while my husbands food get cold. There are better restaurant choices in Pagosa Springs.

My wife and I enjoyed a terrific seafood dinner as we drove east through Colorado's rockies. A Chivalrous Shark appeared on the side of the road at the end of a row of shops, and the number of parked cars gave us a hint that this might give us a break from the usual "road trip" fare. I had the... More

Like most Pagosa restaurants, this one is small. Family friendly atmosphere with a New Orleans/Mardi Gras theme. The menu is mostly seafood but with a good variety. Prices are very reasonable in the $12-$18 range. Food quality is in line with the price which is more than I can say for most of the rest of Pagosa. Good food at... More
