Some good points, some not so good

We give this classic pizza joint along US 160 mixed reviews. It's informal, fun, and noisy, sometimes a little too noisy as the plain, stark decor carries sound well and large crowds of children can create a cacophonous atmosphere. Well, what do you expect for a pizza joint? Not a show stopper... read more

"Home of the sourdough pizza" Being a pizza lover I had to try it. We flipped through our Pagosa Springs dinning guide and found a coupon for free 'dessert nuggets' with purchase of a large pizza. We called and ordered a large half cheese and half green chilie and of course our dessert nuggets. The restaurant was easy to find,... More

The place is dirty and the staff/manager is not very friendly. In fact, the manager seems put out whenever you arrive and want to eat in. We were the only people in the restaurant each time we ate there, but we won't be going again.

We had a long day so figured we would order pizza from around the corner from where we were staying and just relax. First we picked up the pizza and it was cold and really salty. The fried mushrooms looked like they had been sitting around for weeks, they were dark and wrinkled like they fried them and then submerged... More

Best pizza in town! We love this place. The Margarita pizza is my favorite. Service is always good. Might cost a little more, but if you are looking for cheap, disgusting pizza...Dominos is right down the road.

We ordered on the phone. There was a coupon we didn't know about and were not offered. But the pizza we got, pepperoni and grilled chicken, was wonderful, with that crisp crust you always hope for. Not too much marinara, lots of cheese and mushrooms.

If you charge $8.50 for what equates to one decently sized piece of pizza, you are doing it wrong. Very average ingredients and flavor. The one employee behind the counter was having an active conversation with a couple of other people while I was trying to order. It seemed like I was interesting their time together. Very rude. One of... More

My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday evening as we were on our way out of town after visiting the hot springs, it was a little before 8:00pm. After making sure it looked open we stepped in to the casual diner and were immediately asked if we could be helped. They looked about a third full. We verified... More

We had a pizza delivered on Monday night Dec 8th, we ordered a large 3 meat 3 veggie pizza via coupon in the Pagosa Restaurant Review Magazine. We mentioned the ad and price and it was honored without fanfare. We ordered a large traditional crust which was thin and somewhat flavorless being slightly undercooked. The toppings were delicious and the... More

The pizza was good, but a bit pricey. I would not spring for the sour dough crust. It was not that flavorful. They had a good selection of beers and great service. It was right next to our hotel: The Alpine Inn.
