The food is good, the staff friendly, but the acoustics in the restaurant make it not that enjoyable. Way too loud to enjoy our conversation. Price is expensive.

The pizza was some of the best I've ever had. Beet salad was scrumptious too. We split pumpkin creme brulee and amazing chocolate torte. Service was good and we were sat immediately upon arrival.

This restaurant is much better than many we've found in much larger cities. The menu is creative; the servings are generous; the wine list and the service are excellent. I love the Thai Caesar salad, and the pâté mousse with cherries.

Definitely on the expensive end, but so worth it. The food is always delicious, the service impeccable, and the dessert...WOW! Best flourless chocolate cake EVER! The alley house is perfect for a special occasion because it's very nice and a great experience, but definitely pricey (worth it!).

After reading the reviews here in TA, we all decided to come here for dinner during our 1st night in Pagosa Springs, and we’re so glad we did. First, the décor was very cozy and inviting – relatively small restaurant so make sure you make reservations. The food was excellent, appetizers consisted of beet salad and a to-die-for lobster mac... More

The changes that chef Teddy Wyant has made to the menu for winter are impressive. He has added delicious crab cakes to the appetizer list (my favorite!) and upgraded the ribeye to dry aged (alert: it is 14 oz. so you’re likely have leftovers to take home). Two other notable new entrées are the elk osso bucco and the Colorado... More

The Alley House is clearly the best in Pagosa. My last visit was no exception. I had local elk, with potatoes and special Brussels Sprouts. The service was excellent. Prices have gone up over the years and I think they have hit their upper limit.

Nice atmosphere and good food. It seems pricey for the locations, other restaurants in town, etc., but it is truly the only thing of its nature around. Service was good. Food was good. For some reason, I have trouble coming up with any superlatives; but if you are in Pagosa Springs and want a special evening, this is the place... More

Our last night in Pagosa Springs turned out to be our best night...at least for food. The Alley House Grille was such a pleasant sexperience for us. Although I had read wonderful reviews ahead of time and hoped what I read was correct, I was still so relieved and excited to discover they were all true. There were eight of... More
