The food was very good; service was excellent. It would be considered upscale in whatever town you were eating. After a day outdoors, it was nice to clean up and have the choice of an exceptional restaurant in a small tourist town such as Pagosa Springs.

Extensive wine list; eclectic menu. Professional staff - attentive and knowledgeable of wine menu and food menu. When weather permits, pleasant outdoor seating - beautiful old house.

After having eaten at other "recommended" restaurants in town, we were thrilled and delighted to finally find a REALLY GREAT restaurant!!! This one was the favorite of the owner of the of Hartland Ranch where we stayed. And boy, was it a GREAT recommendation. Missy, our server was really sweet and helpful. And the food was as good as many... More

We just stopped in for dessert on our anniversary and it was definitely the right choice. Missy was our waitress and was so friendly and welcoming. Boone was very kind as well. The two of them, along with the other staff, complimented the best dessert we've had in ages. All that, along with the wonderful setting made our special night... More

The food was absolutely spectacular! That being said, we left a little disappointed. When we spend a couple hundred dollars on a nice meal along with wonderful food, we are looking for a dining experience. There was no dining experience. The young waitress offered no wine list or menu suggestions, just took our order. Our food came out very quickly... More

Summer is always a fun time at the Alley House because the patio is open for dining and a new seasonal menu is available. This year, new chef Teddy is featuring many more seafood dishes than in the past and the result is delightful. We ate with two friends last evening and we all greatly enjoyed our dinners. My husband’s... More

The tuna was amazing - well done as well as an enormous portion. Very pleasant both inside and out. Busy, but timely service with strong drinks. Good evening.

My family and I spent a week in Pagosa in early July. On our last night we decided to try the Alley House mainly because of the rave reviews it received on Trip Advisor and the local dining guide. When we first arrived the manager, I assume, asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside and the girls decided... More

Dear BillySteve, I sorry you decided to leave and not stay for dinner at the Alley House. If it seemed to you that we had lots of tables available inside that can be an illusion. We deal with mostly reservations and if you didn't have one for inside, being a party of seven, it makes it very difficult to seat... More

We enjoyed a nice quiet dinner here in late June. Be prepared with a sweater if you are sitting on the patio. The house salad with tomatoe vinaigrette is large so plan to share. Good choice for something different. The entrée choices were better portioned. We usually try the evening special but, they only had the menu for the evening.... More
