I liked the Sunday brunch, but the steak was like rubber at dinner. During brunch, the server sneezed on my food and didn't offer to replace it. Crazy enough to return, the second experience the server messed up on my bill after a dinner of "rubber" steak. No apologies.

Food was superb, wine list was excellent, i had a question about the wine and received a new glass without question.

We chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Having lived on Prince Edward Island, I can say that the BonTon does PEI mussels to perfection, and these were some of the best I have tasted, despite being landlocked in CO! We also loved the housemade pasta and the beef Wellington. Worth the trip just to eat here.

Quaint hotel romantic cellar. Italian theme. The beef wellington was excellent. Reasonably priced good bottle of wine. We were return customers.

Waitress comes to us and says it'll be 15-20 minutes before she can take our drink order, really? She came 20 minutes later, and I was going to leave for another place. Food order went right in. Wait staff was very inattentive, food was over-priced and not that good. I DO NOT recommend this place.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. My mom and I went to Bon Ton to have a nice dinner as a girls night out. On our way to the restaurant we tried to call ahead of time to get a reservation, but after calling THREE TIMES we gave up and decided to just try our luck to get a table.... More

My wife and I love to travel to colorado and spend time in Ouray. We have been to Ouray many times and have tried most of the restaurants. We keep coming back to Bon Ton. We have ordered many different items on the menu and have always been more than satisfied: inviting atmosphere, Clean, Interesting. (It's actually located in a... More

Historically, this was Ouray's best restaurant, however, over the years the management and chef have changed and now it is just OK. Overpriced for the quality received. The menu is interesting and well conceived but the taste of the food leaves you yawning....not horrible but not special. I had a pork chop with some type of blue cheese spread gobbed... More

This restaurant is located in the basement of the St. Elmo Hotel. It features dark wood paneling and reminded one in our party of Irish pubs she had been in recently. There is a wide variety of food which could be described as modestly priced to expensive. Overall, though, a very nice experience and somewhat unexpected in this location.
