Maybe we got lucky given the generally negative reviews here. My wife and I popped over here for breakfast when they first opened on one morning of our stay. The wait staff did seem rushed even though there were only a handful of patrons in there, but the food was hot and I absolutely loved the pancakes and asked the... More

We came in here for breakfast when we were house hunting. There was 1 table of 5 seated with menus. We sat down, had water and coffee and of course wondered why we were not given menus. The waiter said, "they were all out." Okay so you only have 5 menus and seating for 60? Anyway, I ask for a... More

We arrived to get a pizza. They had to call in a cook who turned out to be the owner's boyfriend. They did nothing but argue. The boyfriend cook complained that people were disrespecting his kitchen. It was weird. We left before being served. I would not recommend anyone coming here. It was amateur hour from start to finish.

Wow, the worst meal I've had at a restaurant, if you can call the Silver Nugget that. The restaurant was not heated and there was only one employee. In hindsight, we should've left but were in a hurry and hungry. The coffee was served cold. My husband ordered a Denver omelet and was told they were out of green peppers.... More

Unsanitary conditions. Bland, overpriced food. Comical waitstaff, and a total waste of time and money. After a morning hike, my husband and I stopped in here for a quick lunch. My husband ordered wings, and I ordered a sandwich. With wings, one would normally think you could have the choice of ranch or blue cheese. Nope. My husband asks for... More

Pretty quiet for this visit09/30/13 and we were the only customers. food was good server was attentive and digs were what you would expect in a revived mine town that leans heavy on tourist traffic. One problem was the front door was always open and flies were a naissance. Is that how it was in the late 1800s? Well it... More

We had a rehearsal dinner here, only because it was the only restaurant open at the time. Ugh! We had guests from Korea. I can only imagine what they thought. There was a black lab dog freely wandering around, eating things off the floor. The "waiter" just dumped glasses, sliverware, napkins, etc. on the table for 9 people. It was... More

My son and I ate here on a Saturday morning. The eggs benedict was very good and the service was fine. The homade strawberry jam was so good my son ordered a second portion of toast! We enjoyed talking to the owner Craig and also enjoyed his super sweet black lab Bryson. I could tell that a "snooty" couple was... More
