This place is terrible! My husband and I had eaten here before so we decided to stop for lunch again. The (I think) owner was making racial slurs towards his cook, the waitress asked to cash out our ticket while we were still eating so she could leave, there was a dog begging for scraps and to top it off,... I don't write reviews, but this was the worst breakfast I ever had. I couldn't even finish mine and that too is rare. Usually, I can stomach some sub-par food, but this was the worst. My friend and I came in for breakfast the other morning. Generally, breakfast is really difficult to screw up so I wasn't too worried. But... More

We ate there a couple mornings ago and I thought it was awesome. We were very hesitant but it was the only place that had what we were looking for so decided to try it out of desperation. Definitely a good surprise. Waitress was extremely welcoming and friendly, food was very good for a decent price. If traveling through Ouray... More

We ate here on Sunday the other week, and it was a joy. I'd like to refute some of the recent negativity on here about this place; there's a warm homely atmosphere, the food was tasty, the coffee was good and bottomless, and the staff were friendly and welcoming to a pair of clearly somewhat bewildered and tired Brits. We... More

Maybe we got lucky given the generally negative reviews here. My wife and I popped over here for breakfast when they first opened on one morning of our stay. The wait staff did seem rushed even though there were only a handful of patrons in there, but the food was hot and I absolutely loved the pancakes and asked the... More

We came in here for breakfast when we were house hunting. There was 1 table of 5 seated with menus. We sat down, had water and coffee and of course wondered why we were not given menus. The waiter said, "they were all out." Okay so you only have 5 menus and seating for 60? Anyway, I ask for a... More

We arrived to get a pizza. They had to call in a cook who turned out to be the owner's boyfriend. They did nothing but argue. The boyfriend cook complained that people were disrespecting his kitchen. It was weird. We left before being served. I would not recommend anyone coming here. It was amateur hour from start to finish.

Wow, the worst meal I've had at a restaurant, if you can call the Silver Nugget that. The restaurant was not heated and there was only one employee. In hindsight, we should've left but were in a hurry and hungry. The coffee was served cold. My husband ordered a Denver omelet and was told they were out of green peppers.... More
