Been a while since we had escargot in a moderately priced restaurant that was really good. The soup if the day was artichoke spinach. I could've made a meal out of it! The prime rib was cooked perfectly. We also had ravioli and I asked if they could mix the marinara and alfredo which they did. Service was good. We... More

NEVER NEVER miss this place when we come here! I had to get my prime rib, and this time they had a blackened prime rib that was fabulous! My new favorite! Kids were happy with the mac and cheese, my grandson ate 2 platefuls!! All 4 adults were VERY happy with our meals and the service cannot be beat in... More

Yes I'm a tourist, that doesn't mean I should have a bad steak. It was bad, I had the pepper steak and the tenderloins were overlooked. My finance had the ribeye, also overcooked asked for medium rare. No flavor, and overpriced. The calamari we ordered was clearly frozen. The margaritas were good, upgrade to the gold. They are made well.

We went here with a large group & were happy we waited for an available table even though there was no wait closeby at other restaurants. The wait was well worth it & we were all impressed with both the food & service. Our server was simply exceptional- caring, attentive & friendly. It was such a nice experience & she... More

Had a really great meal here while staying in Ouray. Only serve Dinner so had to wait till they opened. Food was very good as well as the service. Everyone's steak was great but my ribeye had quite a bit of Fat on it but was still good. Would go back again. Meal was a little pricey but figured it... More

Another summer on the Western Slope and revisiting favorite places discovered last year: this one, we are happy to say met all expectations of recollected excellence. Salads with a unique mandarin orange vinaigrette. Rich and I got their special of the day: bone-in rib-eye and it was perfectly prepared in the "Pittsburgh style" we've come to love (seared outside, medium... More

We dined at Outlaw from a local recommendation. We were not disappointed! The decor is old west. The food is surprisingly inventive. We had the ny strip steak with cognac sauce on the side. Honestly, it didn't need the sauce, but it contained mushrooms and bell pepper strips that were tasty. The salad was a treat with orange vinegarette dressing... More

The food was cooked to perfection. Service was slow. Waitress kept forgetting everything. I believe her name was Debbie. Bar tender, (an older woman) was using her hands without gloves to serve lemons, limes and olives in drinks while handling dirty wine bottles and beers. Unsanitary. Could not keep up with drink orders. We asked for two glasses of wine... More

On my annual visit to Ouray always enjoy the outlaw. The trout and fillet mignon are my favorites. Artichoke and shrimp appetizers yummy. Great margaritas, the best service and fun atmosphere make Outlaw my #1.
