If "Richard A" reads this, I would like him to know I was offered the same child's sippy cup when I asked for a glass of water as well. It didn't offend me, but this wasn't my first visit to Ourayle House. I laughed it off and said it would be great if it was vodka in the sippy cup...life... More

I understand the cache of a "Mr. Grumpy" barkeep in an old mining town but sometimes he crosses the line to be downright offensive and insulting. After a day of fishing, our group stopped by for some beers. One of our crew is a recovering alcoholic and asked for something non alcoholic (he was buying) and when he was told... More

The beers at the Ourayle House Brewery are by far the best in Ouray! They have changed locations to the north end of main street, 703 Main street /Hwy 550, next to Maggie's burgers, East side of main street. Awesome beers. Pass by the bigger brewpub and get great quality beers at Ourayle! Seriously! I prefer these beers!

Had a great time hanging out here, owner is great fun once you get talking. Some of the best beer I had in the States, closest anyone got to the good stuff in the UK. Loads of games and cool stuff to look at in the bar.

As I read previous reviews, I have come to the conclusion that the negative Nancy's are simply Madonna tourists. Hutch was great to us, give a smile and you get a smile! Great beer, relax and enjoy the scenery!

This place sucks! The workers are only nice to the people who they know. The beer is crap and this place isn't even open anymore. Its possibly the grossest restaurant I have ever been to!

So,so beer, the bartender exhibited no personality and he acted as though I was really disturbing his day by being there and ordering a beer.

This is my second trip to Ourayle House. Both times, I found the beer very drinkable. As for the decor, yea, it's a bit to be desired. Sitting at the bar is best, table area seems a bit crowded. No food servered at Ourayle House, non expected. Menu consists of beer on tap, or water. I just came in for... More

We didn't like either of the beers we tried. The One Arm One Leg IPA, which is supposed to be hoppy was not so hoppy but very bitter. The Go Ahead and Pout stout was billed as a chocolate caramel stout. I didn't get any chocolate or caramel flavor. The attraction here, I think, is "Mr. Grumpypants" the brewer. Not... More

The brewer, owner, employee is said to be the grumpiest man in town. That may be, but I found his company and his beer to quite complimentary. The beer is quite tasty and diverse. Go there with an open mind and open ears. He is very knowledgeable about brewing and I can't wait to brew my next batch with tips... More
