Fast but good food

From the outside, this place is a bit unassuming; so I wasn't sure about eating here. I did have a good time though. It is clean and interestingly designed inside. The food is nothing remarkable but is good. Nothing to health conscious about the menu, but it is what it is and I had a good time... read more

My husband and I are from Colorado and have had our share of brewery advventures. We both agree this is one of the top 3 breweries we've tried. Every beer stands on it own here. The staff are great and happily offered without solicitation a tour of their back brewing operations. This was so fun. Let's not forget to mention... More

Great staff we had fun visiting with other travelers and local people. learning about the history of the town. The local Police chief recommended the Brewery to have dinner.

Stopped in to get a growler and try some local ales. The 550 Red Ale was top notch, one of the better reds we have tried. Did not eat there this time, so can't comment on the food, but the place was packed, and they have a nice sun deck on the top floor where you can drink in the... More

The swinging cable bar chair was very unique and set up for an entertaining meal for my wife and I. We ate lunch there. Our waiter was a young guy that we had lots of fun talking to while experiencing Ouray during a slow spell before the busy season starts. We both got burgers. Expect to pay more then average... On our last stay in Ouray, we vowed to eat at the Ouray Brewery. We had been in Ouray years past when they were still constructing the open-air top floor eating area, and were excited to see what it was all about. The food was delicious, there is a beer for every taste, and if you sit up top, the... More

This has become our required visit while in Ouray. Whether or not you're a climber, this place rocks! Super-friendly staff who even recognized us the second time we came in; outstanding brews from extra-light through float-a-horseshoe stouts; terrific food on a menu small enough to let them do everything well. The ribs and the brisket sandwich were particularly impressive. Oh,... More

The food was ok, the beer was excellent and the views from the top deck are out of this world! Great place to hang out and watch the sun go down.

Food was good, beer and the staff were better. So much better than the other local brewery and saloons. Ask for Mike, who was a great guy and a knowledgable beer man who knew his products. Head to the roof for the view!
