We stopped in here about noon and the place was closed. We tried again about 4 PM and it was open. We mentioned to the clerk working there that we had been in earlier and her only reply was "Well this is Ouray". She seemed to have no interest in helping us, and some of the prewrapped fudge felt like... More

While walking around Ouray we stopped to pick up some candy. Everyone loved what they picked out and the prices were good. There was a lot of old candies you don't see anymore also.

Used to be my daughter's favorite when she was little girl and we came here, but now the selection is very limited, service not friendly, and we were very disappointed.

This is a true old time candy store with some amazing chocolates on offer. There were also a huge selection of fudges and some unique takes on old favorites. The ice creams on offer looked very tasty! Hard to choose amongst all the great tastes. Have to go back to try more!

Not a great selection of candy - mostly the same candy you can buy anywhere else. The chocolates and fudges were not good and they were pricey. Thumbs down.

The candy is superb as was the scrap cookie. Everything melted in my mouth. I do think it was a bit over the top in pricing, but for a once in a while sweet treat, it was great.

To Those who Came to the Store...In mid season I the owner was laid up with medical issues. I want to apologize for the rudeness, smells, limited selection of chocolates, ice cream and any other problems I missed. And yes I do make most chocolates some I just can't make with my limited experience. I want to extent my apology... More

The place smelled like urine and sewage. The candies were not homemade, and were nothing special. The attendants were disinterested. Didn't greet us when we went in except to look up for a moment. Wouldn't go back.

Ugh where to start. Inventory was very limited. Things didn't look very fresh. Handwritten signs labeling candy had spelling errors and were sloppy. We ordered ice cream and picked two of the flavors that didn't look freezer burnt. Service was awful. Employee was rude and disinterested in interacting with us at all. She watched my daughters ice cream scoop fall... More

Exploring Ouray was a delight, running across this cute lil candy shop thrilled me. The prices and better yet the poor selection of treats, however, was disappointing. The kind worker behind the counter top explained they were near the end of their season and were closing first week of October. We understood. The Candy bon bons that I chose where... More
