Not much there

We were a little disappointed. We had already visited the other ice cream / candy store just a block or two away and this place had a VERY small amount to choose from. The place looked nice and clean just not much to buy. Maybe we just got there at the wrong time. Next time we are in town we... read more

The place was messy and the candy shelves were empty and dirty! Not sure how this place stays in business. I don't usually like to give a bad review but this place is bad!

This place is hopping all the time! Great home made candies and good Chai. Try the scrap cookies, yummy leftovers!

We had ice cream from both places in town, and we liked The Candy Co. best. The service is lackluster and the place is kind of sad and dark...but, the ice cream is good.

We stopped in for a quick taste of chocolate while strolling Main street. It is a bit farther down toward the end of Main so not as visible as the other chocolate shop. This location is more laid back than the other chocolate shop but the selection is very good. Chocolate is sold by the pound as are the individual... More

They have a cookie made with all there left over ingredients. It's to die for highly recommend. Lots of wonderful candy and ice cream to choose from.

The only reason I give this place a 1 rating is because the ice cream was good. The place is very dirty and the help doesn't do anything to clean up. They sit and play on their phones looking bored. It seemed as if it really put the young girl out to have to scoop $30 worth of ice cream... More

We stopped to check out what kind of candies and ice cream selection they had. We found a couple of very young adults in charge of the place. Looking at the candy cases was a sad sight. We noticed bags of candy that you buy at Costco behind the counter and that's what they were replenishing their cases with. The... More

I don't know WHAT candy store some of the other reviews went to, but the Ouray Candy store on the North end of town was disgusting. About 90% of the store was empty cartons, the rest was dirty fly-ridden leftovers. It had smeared chocolate all over the counters, and the worker told my brother in law, "I'll give you a... More

What we saw did not totally match tripadvisor reviews nor photos. The candy shelves had big glass jars of old-time favorites, and the display cases were sort of filled with fudge and baked goods. I had the dulce de leche ice cream in a cup, and it was quite good. I did notice that some of the ice cream containers... More
