When staying in Ouray, we were in the mood for a light but economical dinner-we found it at the Saloon. The building is full of history. The menu had plenty of options and all were reasonably priced. It was a great find right off the main road.

This beautiful bar and great outdoor deck has great drinks and the best pizza in town. It's a must-do.

Sat at the bar for dinner, as the place was crowded. Enjoyed chatting with the bartenders, as well as restaurant/bar patrons around us. Fun to hear other's travel stories, and this was a good place to do so. Staff was fabulous, and knew lots of hotel and town history. Food was delicious, served promptly, despite the number of people in... More

We had artisanal pizza. It was good. The atmosphere was homey and the historic rooms were fun to walk through.

Really neat old hotel and nice restaurant. I was with a group of 8 and we all had the pizza which was very good. Very good service and a friendly wait staff. Lots of charm and character to go with the food. I will definitely eat here again.

We had a large pizza and salad party for about 60-70 people and they did a great job. The pizza and salads were excellent. The wine was more expensive than I would have liked. I would definitely say that if you are planning a large party, get a signed contract regarding prices. They didn't seem to feel a contract was... More

We were in Ouray late in the season and not sure if we could still get Pizza at the Western. They actually have a separate part of the hotel that serves more casual foods than the "Saloon". We were able to order the three meat pizza from the Saloon and it was very good. Not like the big chain pizza's... More

This hotel & saloon was built during the height of the mining boom in 1891 and its character was the primary reason we choose to eat dinner there. While the menu wasn't huge, it did offer a good assortment of entrees. We both chose the Rocky Mountain Trout prepared Amandine style and it was the best trout we had on... More

The menu has a wide variety of choices and the prices are much more reasonable than most other restaurants in Ouray. Atmosphere is fun and the pizzas were GREAT!!

We went into this building early in the day before the restaurant opened at 4. But, we were able to look through the saloon and take pictures which was neat. It has some nice history and you're able to get some great pictures too.
