This is a great place for cafe and danish in the mornings and/or a sandwich for lunch. Our visits were actually in 2008 and 2009.. Cheers

We were staying across the street and ate there several times. Very tasty scones (lemon, chocolate mint and blueberry.) We also tried the breakfast sandwiches and wraps. Like one other reviewer noted, the potatoes were a bit underdone but otherwise very tasty. We had the hipster pizza one night and it was great. They have a good selection of teas,... More

Seriously, this place had the best croissant I've ever had! Great service, too. Not sure if the owners were the ones that served us, but they were very friendly!

Stopped in early Sunday morning to get coffee and a breakfast wrap. The coffee was great, but small cups. The breakfast wrap included potatoes which were not cooked, but otherwise good. Stay and taste the food before leaving instead of hurrying off like we did. I am sure they would have corrected the problem if we would have brought it... More

Before leaving Quray, we ran into the Artisan Bakery for our "to go" coffee and breakfast rolls. We had a long drive ahead of us and everything was wrapped-up securely. The coffee was hot and delicious. My husband had a fresh and fruity breakfast roll while I enjoyed a savory jalapeno cheese baked goody. Combined with the friendly employees =... More

This little place offers pizza on weekend evenings, so we went in and got one to go. It was HOT in there, so eating in the restaurant would not have been comfortable. It was hot in Ouray when we were there, and I guess with the ovens going it got pretty uncomfortable. But we took a delicious pizza back to... More

We ordered a pizza - was cooked perfectly and had great taste! Also the pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting were so moist. We'll go back here on our next visit.

We had a lemon strawberry scone and a croissant and coffee. The baked goods were very tasty. The coffee was very muddy and not very enjoyable. We sat outside in front of the bakery at a little table on the sidewalk. We had a up close view of their front window and it was very dirty within the display. There... More

All pretty good, but our favorite was the two tone rye bread...fabulous. Friendly crowd, quaint no frills with good stuff that you can smell from outside!

Went to the Artisan in the morning for coffee. I drink decaf and was told that they "don't do decaf." Too bad. My husband stayed at the Artisan, while I went in search of the coffee I like to drink.
