Established in 2001. We are a small family of chocolatiers and coffee roasters living in a small town nestled in the San Juan Mountains in the southwest corner of Colorado. We use only the finest Belgian chocolate and make everything by hand. Our shop is open everyday except Christmas. Stop by if you are in the neighborhood. We'd love to hear stories about how our chocolate has been a part of your lives. It brings us together in our love for chocolate, fine ingredients and sharing them with our family and friends.

Ummmm...wow. Finding really quality chocolates in small mountain towns usually does not happen in my experience. We passed through Ourey today and happened to see this store on Main Street. When you walk in there is a substantial case of chocolates. I told the guy behind me not to judge and I started ordering. We took home Oreo bark, marzipan... More

We visited with our 3 boys, so we had a little of everything. It was fresh and yummy. We had truffles, sea salt caramel, scrap cookie, fudge, magic cookie, & milk chocolate toffee. It was all delicious. My favorite was the toffee but we would definitely order any of the items again. We are staying in Durango and are considering... More

Mouse's is a great stop for a sweet treat or a nice hot cup of coffee. We visited on Saturday night and enjoyed a Scrap Cookie and a dark drip brewed coffee. The Scrap Cookie is my husband's favorite and it's name explains what it really is. It's a cookie made out of all their scraps from candy making. A... More

The scrap cookies vary wildly between very good to OK. The chocolates are OK but as the title says if you want excellent chocolate go to Belgium.

My wife needed chocolate so we popped in for a piece or two. Very good + very expensive. My trouble with coffee shops being listed on Tripadvisor is that they skew the rating for regular restaurants especially in a small town. Just the same a worthy stop while in Ouray.

This was my second visit to Ouray, and to Mouses. I don't remember it being so pricey ($17 for 3 toffee squares, a "magic" bar, and a scoop of ice cream), but everything is truly delicious. And no, I did not eat that all at once. We were pleasantly surprised that they have dairy-free options, including for their coffee drinks.

This place is Spectucular!!! The scrap cookies are the BEST and the counter help late happy to let you choose exactly what cookie you want - very cool! Also another must is to order the mocha or white chocolate mocha because it's made with the chocolate they make!!

The milk chocolate truffles melt perfectly in one's mouth. Lots of choices including seasonal specials. Also cookies made from the kitchen "scraps" are tasty, popular & always a little different depending on the day's "scraps". Custom milkshakes & designer hot chocolates are special treats. Not a coffee drinker, but the fresh roasting beans smell delicious.

A little slice of heaven. Great chocolates, and awesome coffee. I love the Malayain Fogcutter. It has 6 shots of espresso, chocolate and I don't know what else, but it's enough to keep you going! Great before climbing or hiking.
