Established in 2001. We are a small family of chocolatiers and coffee roasters living in a small town nestled in the San Juan Mountains in the southwest corner of Colorado. We use only the finest Belgian chocolate and make everything by hand. Our shop is open everyday except Christmas. Stop by if you are in the neighborhood. We'd love to hear stories about how our chocolate has been a part of your lives. It brings us together in our love for chocolate, fine ingredients and sharing them with our family and friends.

Great Break From a Hot Day

We enjoyed a Turtle sundae and various chocolates. The place was busy and it was hot inside. Staff seemed to be still learning the recipes - but kept plugging ahead in spite of getting slammed with lots of people. More outside seating would be nice, but we did enjoy our dessert.

Chocolate and ice cream were average, service was just okay. Many, many flies inside and the employees seemed oblivious. The garbage was overflowing. Wish they had more outdoor seating.

With so many little restaurants and coffee shops on a tiny main street, I found this gem. Why buy a mocha anywhere else? Here, you'll get real chocolate! Yum! I would have liked a bit more of a chocolatey taste - but this was good coffee;)

I heard people recommend their breakfasts as excellent, but we stopped for ice cream! The wait can be long, as this is a very popular place on a well-placed corner. The trays of chocolates looked gorgeous, but on to ice cream! The mouse tracks and peanut butter cup flavors were both very rich and better than most restaurant desserts. There... More

My husband and I stopped in for some dessert - raspberry sorbet and a truffle. Both were delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Wonderful place for desserts!

We found this place by accident having parked across the road for an unscheduled stop. What a great find. The array of chocolates was very impressive but we restricted ourselves to a full roast coffee and a 'scrap cookie' each. The coffee was excellent and the cookie was brilliant, made from the leftovers from the chocolate and candy making processes.... More

Was lucky enough to visit Mouses for some delicious chocolates - my buddy always stops here and drives all the way back to Durango, CO to share with friends. I asked for their Scape Cookies which were also good!!! Located on Main Street - so near all the shops and bars!!!

Visited this establishment whilst travelling through on a 'coast to coast' tour of the USA. So glad we decided to pop our heads inside, as the chocolates on offer were wonderfully scrumptious. If you visit the beautifully scenic town of Ouray you must visit these chocolatiers, if you don't you will have definitely missed out.

We visited this place due to its high rating and were extremely disappointed. The coffee is less than mediocre, reminding me of dish-water, and the truffles tasted similar to a melted Hershey's kiss. We also went for a $3 scrap-cookie, which was cold and hard.

Simple pleasure to have a milk shake made from scratch. Great selection of flavors, custom to standard. Really hit the spot.
