Very slow service at what is supposed to be a pub (by definition relatively quick). We ordered an appetizer that took 20 minutes to prepare! Our meal came 10 minutes later. All of us in our party were surprised at the smallish portions. Burger was bland. Overall, a place to avoid. There are better in Ouray.

We ate here two nights in a row in Oct. 2013 as the food was so good. So naturally we couldn't wait to eat there again on our summer vacation. We arrived a little before 2:00, place was about 1/2 full. Took forever to get our server over for us to order our food. Once we ordered it was a... More

Four days in Ouray and came here four times... Consistently friendly efficient with a slightly Better than usual pub menu. Good beer selection. I know when I come here what I will get and I will be happy with it, unlike a review I posted on another restaurant here in Ouray

We visited O'Brien's this week and were disappointed in the food and service. It has definitely changed since we ate there last year. This time we both got burgers and they were not good at all. We ordered them well done and it took forever for the food to come out. The burgers were pink all the way through, no... More

II had a fish sandwich, one of my favorites. The fish was fine, but the bun was yesterday's, I thought. I ate at O'Briens with three others. All three raved about their choices--maybe the staff just dipped into the buns they were holding on to for croutons the next day.

The food was amazing and our waiter was great! We had the fried mushrooms, fish and chips and loaded potato soup. Our waiter was funny and attentive.

The food here is tops. We ate here twice and had various dishes, and there were no flaws in the food. The traditional Irish food was full of flavor and came with all the right extras. My daughter freaked out about the French Dip and had it twice, and she was right. The steak in the sandwich was peppery and... More

We dropped in for lunch. We had a burger and a French dip sandwich. Their outdoor space is a great spot for relaxing in the beautiful scenic town, and the food was good. The waitstaff was attentive and polite, though they seemed a little disorganised for a place that I understand gets crushed in the evenings.

Someone apparently bought O'Brien's, they kept the name and menu and some of the wait staff but they got rid of the kitchen staff. Boy did they make a mistake! My husband and I would drive from Montrose and go there, we wont be doing that anymore. The tossed the cooks that made that place so popular, and they changed... More

I ordered a typical Irish Pub meal of corn beef, cabbage and potatoes. The plate contained 4 1" wide by 3" long strips of dried out corn beef, the cabbage was shredded and not even cooked and the red potatoes were undercooked. What kind of Irish Pub food is this? Disgusting... Would never eat here again. Maybe the drinks are... More
