Very disappointed this trip to O'Brien's. Went in to watch the Nascar race, have some dinner and a few beers. Was told by the bartender we can't view Nascar, Ultimate Fighting, or boxing; the owner would not allow it???? I had even called prior to coming and specifically asked if we could watch the race and was told yes we... More

While in Ouray in September, 2012, we popped in for a quick lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our food and service. This place is worth a try if you are in this area of Colorado.

After checking around town O'Brien's had one of the most reasonable menu with lots of good choices. I had the Basil Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the Beef Stew. It was like home prepared food and was excellent value. Service was prompt and efficient and we left full and satisfied with the experience.

We had a late dinner and a few pints in O'Briens. It had a really nice laid back wipe and the food was far better than expected. So good, we were sorry we only had dinner there the one time.

We had 2 recommendations for this restaurant. We weren't disappointed at all. We tried the Irish egg rolls. They were huge and they were stuffed with Corned beef, potatoes, and cabbage. It is good we split that appetizer. Then we tried the cod sandwich and that was delicious. We were going to split the fish and chips but weren't that... More

Aside from a delicious selections of beers, you have to try the stew. The restaurant isn't large or fancy but the food is very good. I've been there numerous times and will return again and again. The menu has a nice variety of choices. They also have entertainment some evenings.

The waiter was friendly and the food was good. We didn't try the stew our b&b hostess recommended because the the couple we were eating with recommended the fish and chips. Good choice.

You have to try their famous beef stew! So good I was a repeat offender!! Great food and I would recommend you make a stop here to grab some good hot grub and a cold brew.

It was cold and dark outside and O'Brien's provided a warm solution: Guinness Beef Stew. It tasted exactly how a beef stew should taste: hearty, without inventive flavors, comfortably homey. The meat was very tender and not fatty. I ordered a bowl of it, which was very large and came with two slices of bread. We also got some Irish... More

Enjoyed a good dinner on the outside deck. I like their Fish-n-Chips and a good selection of beers. They have a full bar and good wine list too. Has a hoppin' bar at night and flat screen TV for veiwing sports too. I can recommend it.
